Agree 100%....I don't really get how DP makes us look more incisive (as he is older, slower and arguably less talented than both Silva and Nasri) but he really did today. He was excellent.

Some of his early distribution to the wings was terrific, completely cuts out the three passes we normally take to get over there.

Thank christ a lot of the teams near the bottom won, so Blackburn might actually try and give united a game.

He did well (I like him as a player) - I think the change in formation had as much if not more influence on our change of effort as Pizza. It freed up an extra body for our attacks and seemed to catch Sunderland out.

Really can't believe the position we find ourselves in after having such a handsome lead on the rags.

It's hard to make sense of it all and how we have slipped so badly.I would also like to announce that it's really pissing me right off when we only start playing decent football when we are behind and chasing the game.

I am not sure how true this is, but the commentator for the match here in Ireland said that people where leaving the ground at 3-3 with 4 mins of time left to play, he actually said he was astounded and shocked...is this true??

i thought our passing was again to slow, why does yaya want to make 10 passes when 1 will be enough if it goes forward,

Someone on our row was pushing past me at 3-3 when we had a free kick. But I suppose they got home a few minutes earlier so it was worth it

while we stroll around midfield passing the ball around like Arsenal...hoping we slip it in the goal in the middle of the pitch, which happens to be packed with about 7-8 opposition players no matter who we are playing.

I know, I just dont get whats happened. We all know that we couldn't win every game by 4 or 5 goals, but we really have stepped backwards in both attacking and defending. When we kept up the pace of the ball nobody could touch us, its as if we have become so cocky we just believe that we will win without needing to try. Again and again when the fans try to lift the team and get them to speed it up, they get no reaction from the players.

there' a lot of analysis i'm sure folks will do.

why won't Balo calm down? he hates losing and he knows this is it slipping away. at least he has some passion i guess. hard to see in many others.

Yes Doomie and I am too much fuming, deluded, angry for reasoning but the minute he wasted to claim the ball as only FEW SILLY boys do, despite the captain told him to shut up, has no excuses. I don't fucking care of any hero, because it's a team game and the only winner must be MCFC.
once said that I never looked for scapegoats and I wont start now. As You said there's a lot to analize when a squad like City go 2 down on their own pitch in a final like match....

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Many people talk about the influence of negativity on here and how that might affect our psyche between the supporters and the team but there is NO conceivable excuse for trying to leave early in a match like today. It would have to be a tragedy in the family, though undoubtedly some will come on here and give many of the usual lame excuses.

Same people who left against Chelsea as well. I always wonder if they leave the cinema 5 mins before the end as well. Bizarre behaviour.
