Oh, and he played better than Tevez btw.

Luckily he avoided getting sent off, against a team that was doing their utmost to provoke him off the ball, I doubt even you would have had a bet on that as a certainty before kickoff. Dzeko is more level headed, I can only think of his tantrum at getting taken off in the Munich game and a few frustrated reactions to not being passed to which could be used against him - Balotelli is a potential red card in many games when things aren't going our way. I would have played the percentages in this game with Europe in mind and used Dzeko with his recent goal scoring run of form and his high confidence as I mentioned earlier.

WELL I didn't see all of it on a stream but mario better than tevez? My view was that tevez was running EVERYWHERE fighting hard to win balls back that mario lost and then stayed on the floor. I think mario played half decent but mario and tevez doesnt work. Mario or dzeko never seem to work with the actual strikers (aguero & tevez) but dzeko is in the better form and came on and was unlucky not to score. Mario had a mint euros campaign but needs to show this form for city because he seems to flatter to deceive every time.

Agree, I thought Mario did ok.

Whilst I'm not sick of hearing about Dzeko I know the point you are making here. We'll never know if coming on earlier would have made a difference, but because he had that chance and would have scored if not cleared off the line people seem to think he would have been a match winner if introduced earlier. Those comments are either naive or made in the heat of moment.

Palus is right for once. Yes, Balotelli was decent, but waiting until the 91st minute to introduce a 'confidence player' who's shown good goal scoring form is a pisstake. There's no argument against it. Bring him on 10 minutes earlier or not at all.

Bad management by Mancini.

The argument against is if he doesn't score & doesn't try.

Provided he gets stuck in, I have no problem with playing him, even if he doesn't score. If he strolls around giving the ball away however, I don't want him here. Mario worked his balls off today. Hopefully Dzeko will also have turned over a new leaf & do the same when he gets his chance.

Both will get plenty of games if they put the effort in.

Yes.

Mario is usually like Dzeko; a lazy fucker who scores but doesn't do much else. Today he really worked hard for the team & led the line well. Hopefully Dzeko will be as energetic when he plays.

No its best Edin to leave manager dont like him most suporters dont like him even do he bring them a lot and u can always find a way to turn araund talk , Dzeko on form going in in 91 minute , if Ballo stay i would not say a word but now Ted is saying is better to play well and npt score goals then to play wathewer and score bunch of them but ok that is hes wright , i think this is bad managment.

Dzeko worked his balls off at the beginning of last season and it didn't do him much good, I just don't think Mancini likes him too much, which is his perogative. Probably better for all if he's allowed to leave at the end of the season (or sooner if we have a target that we couldn't quite get this window just gone).
