I think I saw Yaya limping every now and then during the whole game - or am I just creating a reason for his bleak performance?

Dortmund were much the better team I thought tonight, City very lucky.

Yes the midfield didn't protect the back four but some of the one-two passes that Dortmund performed and left them in acres were making me cringe. You could see them coming from a mile off and nothing was done.

Joe Hart was immense. The guy is out on his own in our league and I can only assume up there with the best in the world.

Rodwell needs to stop up fast.

352 or 532 or whatever Mancini thought was a great idea doesn't seem to work at all. Think he should drop this right away.

Doubt a point is enough in a game like this overall. Need to perform some miracles to progress now.

He basically took a player out of midfield (when we were in defence) which compounded the problems we were already facing in that area - shit decision.

We need to win every game now.
I cant see that happening and personally i'd rather finish bottom of the group and fuck the Europa off.

You need glasses. Nasti made some tackles but he constantly gave away possession as did komps. Lescott is nailed on starter for saturday, thank god. Clichy was crap zabba and aguero were our best behind Hart. Everyone else were useless yaya needs to play attacking, mancini is doing my head in with his stupid fucking tinkering. Stop it you knob

Thats fine if you think he did..i just saw alot of faults in his play..Did you see that pathetic tackle that led to the goal? Suicidal and it cost us...The defense is not playing as a unit and do not look comfortable..For all Lescotts faults id rather see him and Vinny in the middle at this moment...We had the best defense..DONT BREAK IT.

I am sorry, but he is shit. If we want young players to have shocking games like he does every time, well we can do it with Razak and other young lads from our academy. Not from a player that cost us a lot of money.

I would rather see a young lad from City, instead of this player. He is shit.

This. I saw he was shite AT FOOTBALL from his first 2 games. Sideways football, bitch in the tackle, no forward passing yet everyone that knew me said it was because i hate him (cos hes a TWAT). But for football reasons he is shit, and razak should be in ASAP. I Have seen zero promise in rodwell and lots on razak pre season.

Dortmund gave us a few lessons on organisation, discipline and determination, but did we take heed? No chance. We are a mess and its pathetic now, only good enough to best lesser PL teams.
little or no chance of qualifying for knockout stage now.

Yayas stats would suggest he had a great game, maybe nasti too, the truth is that everytime they had to make a big decision they got it wrong.

Hart 10
Zabba 7
VK 5
Nasti 3
Clichy 5
Yaya 2
Garcia shit
Nasri 5

Oh come on, stop whining everybody.
Yes, we had a fucking lousy game, one of the worst halves I have ever seen. But lets not judge the manager, entire team, based on this match. Even though there were plenty mistakes made by the coach and the players.

They were physically stronger. Better and stronger in 1 on 1 situations. They covered the field better (I remember several balls that bounced into nomans land, our players were nowhere to be seen).

But, as I've said, lets not overreact. The point out of this game is good, under condition we learn a great deal out of this match.

Individually

Hart was brilliant and done everything one keeper could do, and more.
Zaba - he was a bit selfish in the first half, in a situation we could take the lead, but overall he fought
Yaya - played one of his worst matches
Javi Garcia - that player dissapointed me
Rodwell - also... I dont think he can move the ball, especially forward... there's just a lack of either tehnique or boldness
Kompany - did rather OK imo
Nastasic - I would maybe give him another chance or two
Kolarov - nothing special to say
Nasri - nowhere to be seen, this guy keeps surprising me how he can dissaper for the whole match
Silva - dont know what to say, he had a few OK passes, I cant say he was as bad as others
Dzeko - he should have scored his chance in the first half, overall he didnt have much service
Aguero - the same goes for him, should convert his chances, but he was dangerous and earned us a valuable penalty.

After this game all I can say that Rodwell and Garica imo are not the class I was hoping for, and they cannot play in first 11.
There should be more space for Barry and Milner.

I cannot describe how I hate watching us passing the ball to the death and not being little more concrete, not going forward.
I hope that changes soon, we need to move the ball faster, allow less chances for our opponents to regroup in the back.

Overall, Im happy that we're still in the chase for the 2nd spot.

The most important thing for a forward is speed of thought. Top players read the game.

I'd like to suggest that we deserved something from that game but we didn't. Joe Hart was immense and if it wasn't for him we'd have been well out of it by half-time. Saying that, we both had chances and their keeper did equally as well but the stats won't lie.

The problem for me is the playing staff. From what I've been seeing (not the full picture of course) there is just not enough trust out there. Throwing Nastasic in for these type of games just doesn't work. He's a young lad who does well when no pressure is applied but when in a position where he has to act/react then there lies the problem. It's not his fault, he's a young lad thrown in the limelight but in doing so Kompany doesn't look the same player. There's no trust between them, proved by the fact that Vince shifted him to the right so that he could stop the onslaught.

Moving to the midfield, firstly, why play Garcia who obviously hasn't got to grips with our game yet. Then, we sub him for Rodwell, another young lad thrown infront of the headlights, it was always going to lead to a fuck up in front of goal. Yaya can't look after it all and with the formation set many teams are realising that if he comes under pressure he won't trust the young bloke and will try and take it on himself or pass it straight back to Joe.

Too many youngsters, too many new faces, in a Champions League game?

Where was Gareth Barry, a player we can always rely on! Where was Joleon Lescott, a player that Vince trusts?

For me, wrong playing staff, no trust. Didn't work for me and won't unless we get a little stability.

We have at the moment a poor conection between defence and midfield, there lays the problem. Sloppy, slow and backward passing all over the place.

Basically , Mancini is proving to be clueless this season and NEVER seems to learn anything from last years cl games.h
