Hardly a punishment, as their stadium would've been empty anyway.

i wonder how many times CSKA "cheats" and uses 4 subs by swapping the twins at halftime and changing their jerseys..
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

We didn't. It looked bit shite but we are almost in the next phase and that's all that matters. Well done Engineer!

And before someone asks why I'm posting this 36 hours after the game, it's because I saw the game on tape only last night and spending previous 24 hours trying not to have conversation with anyone about football.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I honestly don't see how anyone paid to be a professional football manager can look at Garcia an think he's a better centre half than lescott.

Are you a paid prof manager ? I'm not making a case for any player but with the baggage this squad carries, Kidd still in the background, it does not make sense to continuously ask a midfield player to drop into the back four . Even as a favour.....

The management are supposed to know what they are doing

He is actually. Or Lee, would you call yourself a paid amateur? What that has to do with the argument I'm not sure though.

if they ban their fans from a few home games in chumps league what advantage does that have with city the team that was abused? i mean no home fans would suit the away team? unless its next years competition or the uefa!!

The punishment ( if there is one ) is against CSKA, not in favour of City.

I said that to my oldest lad at half time. There would be no way our players would have noticed because they are identical.

Talked to a mate who's a somewhat regular at CSKA and he said:

1 he's never heard monkey noises whenever he's attended games. He's not saying that it's impossible that such noises were made given the xenophobia in Russia but he'd be surprised considering CSKA have black players themselves

2 the pitch was so bad CSKA painted it green before the game started

3 he was impressed city won considering they played the game on second gear. After CSKA scored he realized that our beloved team was on a completely different level than CSKA.

It wasn't just Yaya that heard it, Kun was complaining to the ref at the same time as Yaya according to one photo that keeps getting used, trying to get him to listen to the crowd.
