You need your big players to turn up for big games, cans so far, in the main, he hasn't.

He was instrumental in 2 of our goals today.........that's what he brings to the table.

Apparently that isn't enough though Carl.

Two points for KdB to remember

1. If, in a future game the positions are reversed and Kun is on the wing and you are on the penalty spot.
Kun will shoot and not send a controlled pass to you to score easily. Remember that, you might get a rebound if the goalie deflects the ball your way.

2. Covering for Zabba getting lost upfield, late in the game, will not get you any more kudos with the fans. Next time instead of easing the pressure on Joe,simply kick it back to him and tell him to wellie it out for a throw or give it to the opposition's defenders upfield.

Oh and you can stop harrying the opposition late in the game in their half to force their right back to make a mistake and turn the ball over, that gets you no kudos either. Those kind of events don't get picked up by opta stats , you're wasting your time.

Yeah, Aguero never passes when someone's in a better position, especially when he's on for a hat trick.

Overall he's done very well for us since he signed but there are minor issues with him that need ironing out, perhaps it's a case of more communication needed from those around him.

Indeed,he really surprised Merlin with that pass, so much that David nearly didn't stop the ball correctly . Don't be fooled, if Kun had an inkling of getting a shot away for the third he would have shot at goal. The goalie narrowed the angles well.

Btw we want our strikers to be in search of goals.
The day Kun would rather go for assists above scoring goals is day we should sell him to those who have corrupted Spanish football for so long.

Exactly why I've been so anxious to get Zabs back. Sagna has been very good but when he is on the wing we are missing one dimension from our attack. Zabs is million times better at making those overlapping runs and runs to the box in general. It's worth noting that more often than not the ball is not even played to him but he draws defenders with him making lot more space for others. Wednesday's game was prime example imo. Lack of runs from Sagna meant Everton were able to double up all game on Navas

We definitely need a new fullback or two that are willing to mix it up like Zaba. When they do that run, regardless if they get the ball or not, they spread the defenders. T'was Barca's problem before 2008-2009 as well.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

An inkling of getting a shot away? He was in the penalty area, two yards clear of the last defender, in a fairly central position, with just the keeper to beat.
The day our top striker doesn't have an inkling he can get a shot away in that situation is the day we should sell him!
It was great unselfish play.
Having said that, if it was 0-0 I'm pretty sure he would have tucked it away himself.

I think the keeper done well to narrow the angle and Sergio had enough time to think

a) a chance
b) a certain goal

He chose the latter. I think the decision stemmed from the fact that the players were really enjoying themselves at that point and possibly slightly overplaying.

I agree with you, Kun is a greedy fella, which is absolutely necessary in a top striker, the other players have to accept and expect this.

Kun has and will continue to score goals, some spectacular. The other players must learn and expect Kun to try and score at every opportunity.
