Compare our attack to Liverpool. There is the difference. Pep hasn’t chosen well.

That’s the issue. As angry people we want somebody to blame and even though we can see what is happening before our eyes we will always come back to those that we love.

So, to understand if I am totally wrong, did RatBoy confirm that they were both penalties, would have been given last week? Come to think of it, the first half was like a morgue until Leeds picked up a bit. Then, the second half the commentators were as chirpy as fuck. What changed?

Oh shut up. You want to blame Pep for players getting covid and having to isolate ? blame Pep for Kun not getting his act together ?

We have played all through the summer and now it's two games a week until Xmas.

There is no way any team will leap that far ahead.

Leeds are young and a good team.

There was a time when City fans recognised a good game when they saw it. As it turns out a 1-1 draw away from home is not bad given the circumstances , the start of the season .

I blame pep for:

1) not buying a striker
2) not liking strikers
3) thinking sterling can play as one
4) buying rodri
5) playing rodri in every game
6) spending 500 mill on defenders and never managing a clean sheet
7) failing to ever come from behind
8) overthinking big games

But most importantly

9) the look that he gives no fucks and the players dont seem arsed. Yes we were much better first half with pressing for the first time in 18 months but it didnt last.

Count to 10)

I think there was plenty of leadership, plenty of passion, what I am seeing is that drained away from them with every game where we no longer are officiated the same. Even Gary Neville (in full for perspective) said it was a penalty, then the next one was a penalty until this week! This fucking week! Even he was fucking embarrassed by it!

It’s quite fucking simple, we have had to be ‘Incredible’ to win what we’ve won. We’ve had to fight for every single point, every single goal and every single pass. They have tried to nail us at every step, recently proved by the announcement at CAS, yet Blues still think it’s all fare in love and war.

These cunts are incessant.

Usually when we are shit, I don't talk about the refs, what I don't understand (I understand of course) why it didn't go to VAR. In neither of the moments.
Why?

It did.

They didn’t override the referees decision. Which is baffling in itself

When? I think there were at least 2-3 minutes until the ball went out. And in those minutes Leeds almost scored, but Eddie saved it.
They showed only the replays, but that's it. At least that is what I saw on my coverage

Doesn’t matter. Brain farts and shit finishing are more important. Have to deal with the root cause here.

Sky seem to have a link to the VAR and both Tyler and confirmed the VAR was checking for possible penalties and the red card challenge on Bernie. The ball hadn’t gone out of play so the referee can’t stop the game until the decision from the VAR is in. Neville in particular was surprised the penalty for the foul on Sterling wasn’t given and also really surprised the foul on Bernie wasn’t amended to a red card

Interesting that.
I saw it on the Portuguese river and the last 20 minutes on my tv on Eurosport. Neither showed that was checked, only replays.

Can we leave Ratboy's opinion out of anything, he's just aching for us to lose and will say anything to damage us. Him and slimyTyler should only ever be mentioned as examples of pure City hatred, they ooze putrefaction from every orifice.

You mean Salah that pretty much misses every shot , or shoots at the goalie - scores deflections ? and Firmino who didn't score at home last season (iirc) ? Ah Mane ,who has no problem dishing the fouls out but falls to the floor at the first opportunity ( he even got a penalty in January when he kicked the defender and then fell over !!).

our Attackers are both out injured. You can't blame Pep for Razza scuffing one on ones.

We do however need greedy and goal hungry attackers. A no brainer , would be to get Edin back now , even Cavani - they know what they are doing.

I'd rather we played with ten men than to keep on playing Mahrez.

I think it is fairly obvious we are missing a striker, a player of say Kane’s ilk would have scored a hatrick today, this false nine thing is ok as a tactic for specific games, but not a sustainable ploy.
I am hoping the new defence will blend in, but Mendy should be shown the door, either recruit another lb, of play Ake there

All this brilliant attacking talent that couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. I'm gutted we didn't get Messi because he would show their abysmal finishing for what it is. How often do we see Sterling breaking forward and fail to get a shot away? Far too often. As for the defence, you're just waiting for that moment in every game where one of them presents the opposition with a gilt edged opportunity which is invariably taken.

I could apply the above to pretty much most games since the start of last season. We're treading water and if we continue with our transfer policy, it's only going to get worse.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Playing Mahrez and playing with 10 is pretty much the same thing at times. When team is on top he will look great but his lack of work rate is a piss take. All his quality is well known but going from Couple years ago Sane out wide to Mahrez was a massive downgrade. Would give him some slack today being played up top he looked lost, why not give Delap a chance scored on the one start, yes wasn’t great when came on against Leicester but who was in that second half.

Fully agreed. Especially with regards to Mahrez.

We compare to dippers but last year their third highest scorer was van dijk. I have seen many games where dippers are shit and they still win 1-0 like we would have yesterday if not for that howler. Or many games where the score is 1-1 and Dippers get a penalty which we should have got as well for the sterling challenge.

This season is a continuation of last season.

All the same problems are still evident.

I dont think Pep really gives a fuck at this point. He is going for sure the end of this season anyway.

I personally think we will be lucky to finish in the top 4.

No more "free lunches" Mancini players carrying Pep and Tixi. These two, fed well on those. The backbone to all our success.

Now it is Pep and Tixi signings all the way.

And lets be honest nearly all of them are not good enough,Nearly half a Billion on a defense that struggles to keep a clean sheet. It is taking the piss.

And dont get me started on Rodri, Mendy, Mahrez.

Our fans see they are not good enough. But Pep picks them anyway.

Feels like jobs for the Boys.

When i saw Mendy name in the starting line up i was like seriously wtf ?,Mendy and Ake are like day and night. One looks likes footballer, the other like UFC fighter.

But Pep sees it differently.

Soon as Mendy was hooked we started looking a bit better.

We had 2 good seasons under Pep.Breaking shit loads of records.Never to be forgotten.

This season he risks tarnishing his legacy.

I think he should have gone the end of last season. It was obvious his time was up.

Now we have to ruin an entire season with his long good bye,and witness half arsed displays from a team unmotivated by a manager who is already back in Barcelona in his head.

Thought we were really poor yesterday, totally disjointed with lots of sub par performances.

It looks like Pep has lost influence and has looked quite inept tactically.

Time left in the season still but we’ve been poor for a long time now. Depressing
