PEP I will not give up. I want to be here and do it. Now we go to Leicester, [which has] always been difficult but the players will be ready.

We will keep going. Sometimes you expect it will be easy to fix it but sometimes it will take more time.

Why ? He’s turned us to shit and he’s out of excuses or do fans like you just bury your head in the sand and support the manager (25 million pound year manager ) make stupid mistakes game after game until the penny finally drops and he reluctantly benched 2 players who have cost us game after game ? Any other top manager would have taken out bad performing players weeks ago but pep knows best doesn’t he - he cannot be slagged off or criticised because he won us loads of trophies - When we win he seems to get all the credit but when we turn to shit it’s the players fault ? He’s on a win win by some fans isn’t he !

Real Madrid and Barcelona , to name but 2 top clubs, would have sacked him by now after this abortion of a run so to have a thread made about him walking away or being sacked is fucking normal IMO.

Anyway , I have given him till the end of the season to get us a CL spot - if he fails he should go.

That is the key and the question why. Are players upset on Pep? Are players upset on the likes of Stones, Kevin, Walker because they are either unavailable or fucking things up and are tired to cover their arse?

4 bad weeks??? We've won 1 game in 13. We haven't won 2 games in a row since the 26th October. Those games include a 4-0 home defeat by a Spurs team who ship barrowloads of goals, a collapse against Feyenoord when we were 3-0 up with 15 minutes to play, being played off the park by a Sporting Lisbon team and a shocking display in the Derby that looked like being successful until we shipped 2 goals in the last 2 minutes. Young players O'Reilly and McAtee have been on the bench for nearly every game and have a grand total of 2 minutes between them. Wilson-Esbrand is a left back but can't get near the team and we Pep puts square pegs in that round hole, even playing Nunes there in the Derby. We sold any back up for Haaland in the summer and now he knows he is playing no matter the form his effort level has dropped so low, watch him after an attack breaks down walking in an offside position so that if we regain possession he is not even an option for a ball. Gundogan and Walker have cost us points this season but until the last game both seemed undroppable. Pep has been magnificent but his failure to try and replace players is costing the team, no new tactics or shape, no new players promoted through the best youth system in the country. If he isn't going to try and fix the problem then he is the problem.

2 months that would have got a manager the sack at a club with low expectations. What signs are there that Pep is trying things to change things? The same players playing the same system getting caught out by the same counter attacks every week. You don't need to be a tactical genius to see where things are going wrong on the pitch. Don't expect me to have sympathy for a man getting paid £25 million a year and not doing his job being put under scrutiny, I face scrutiny every day in my job for less than £50,000 a year and do my job better every day than Pep has done these last two months. If I even seen signs that Pep was leaving behind his blind loyalty to former stalwarts of the team and giving the youth a chance or that he changed the tactics away from the ridiculous high line that exposes every game then I'd be in favour of giving him longer but he is showing no signs of adapting. The players have to take a large share of the blame too, no character in the team, no leadership, no fight. Guess who works with these guys every day and should see these signs and ship them out when they start showing? That's right, Pep!!

I think it’s been bad all season, ok we won a few games early doors, but we didn’t play particularly well in any of them except the first against Chelsea. I think the Euros and that twat of a manager (I use the term loosely) ruined Foden ( the best player in Britain at the time), hopefully not terminally. I think there is something seriously wrong behind the scenes, if it’s the manager he should go, I don’t think it is. If it’s the players or a small number of trouble makers, I don’t think Pep would put up with it. I personally think that they know they’re going to get a big hit from the tribunal and we will maybe be down a division which is why there have been no signings. I hope I’m wrong in that one but I cannot think of another reason, it just doesn’t make any sense otherwise.

Fulham should have beaten us. Brentford too. Could argue Wolves could have got a draw. We’ve been poor all season.

John Stones is on a contract until the end of season 2025. Apparently there were contract extension talks in October 2024.

If we sack him today , his contract upto the end of 2025 must be paid. Perhaps City should blow the 13 mill there to make the point that reluctance to play , prioritising England over City, should not be tolerated ? At least then Pep can concentrate on bringing one of the youngsters on rather than wasting it thinking or working with someone clearly not interested in making himself fit and available for the first team squad

How many games has this cunt missed ?
A complete waste of space that we could never ever rely on.

Agree mate , fuck him off ASAP.

Sadly, I'm in this camp too. I say sadly as when he's fit and on it, there's few better. His antics with england have pissed me off and this foot injury won't go away. Proven himself not to be counted on - joing a few others this season. Play Simpson P for a run of games let's see what he does at least we will get 90 mins from him. May prove not good enough for our level - ??!! but he's at least a cb

We should have played him and McAtee for a few games to see exactly what they can both do - its so fuckign annoying that they have not played.

No argument from me. Will be pissed off if we let McAtee go having never given him a run of games but that's on the club

Why did it take pep this fucking long to play McAtee ?
I’m sure he only played him as he thinks he will want out next week and he’s trying to delay that.

I’ve been , along with some other fans , screaming at pep to play him and he finally does it , albeit unfairly putting that much pressure on him for the remaining 20 mins in team that was all over the place.

The guys class and I’ve said it all along - took baldy 9 losing games out of 13 to fucking play him for 20 mins.

If we lose McAtee then pep can fuck off as well - I’m sick and tired of losing great players because he doesn’t trust them.
