How many times has Grealish said in interviews that he's terrified to lose possession? That can only come from Guardiola, that fear of losing the ball. Grealish at Villa was all about taking the risk and taking the man on to make something positive happen not just retain possession. Guardiola has changed his mindset and play in a negative way, Gvardiol, one of the best centre halves in the world, made to play left back. Haaland having no room to move because we take the opposition back to their own box. These are all on Guardiola and either he comes up with a solution which shouldn't be too hard or he admits he's had enough and goes.

Its a myth that PeP improves every player that arrives at City ...a complete fucking myth.

Should be playing in Akanji's place. Fancy sacrificing world class talent to accommodate Akanji. What a waste. Akanji can cover useless Walker for time being. The state of our defence, endless tinkering

Grealish just isn't that good. His focus isn t on giving 100% on the pitch. Too concerned about his persona and playing the boy next door done good for the cameras. Needs to take a leaf out of Rodri or Dias book. If half the team stopped fanning around and did their job they'd be a dramatic improvement.

This is true and it’s hard for me just let it go —- winds me up why pep just won’t allow certain players to play their natural game instead of trying to do the impossible with them - hasn’t worked with Grealish , Alvarez and there are numerous other players that just cannot do what he asks of them - it’s fine to try it out but if it’s not working then just fucking stop trying and let them play their own game !!!

Pep has his way, he has his faults. Thie team on the pitch we knew is gone. The players in my opinion are shot. We are at the end of an amazing period. If Pep stays beyond this season and we don’t get fucked over by the Premier League. Rebuild and crack on. Sunday was just the confirmation.

If we don't sign anyone in January or at least really try hard to. Then for me something is very wrong.

It's imperative we bring in a few new faces in January even if it's to freshen up the stale dressing room.

We've got Echeverri in Jan. Oscar Bobb should be back as well which will be like a new signing.

Oscar Bobb will take weeks to get up to speed so dont expect any fireworks form him for a while.Same applies to Echeverri.

If PeP has any sense he will play them both in their favoured postions...Echeverri to play in midfield and Oscar on the right.

Same. Found myself scrolling every City forum in existence last night and this morning. Not great mentally.

Would be different if we had the players giving 100% but I’ve reached the point of ‘if they don’t care neither do I’

Do you believe the players don't care? And have downed tools.

Watch the lack of effort from us for their second on Sunday. We stood and watched as they knocked the ball about. It went out to Dalot and eventually to Martinez. He had time to have his dinner before launching it forward to Diallo. Diallo ran past Nunes, Gvardiol and Dias to get on the end of the pass. Don't even know where our Captain was.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Come on mate, you don't mean it, we have had a lot worse and still and always be city fans, we can't and won't win every game,
Keep the faith and I do know I go bonkers when we lose or play bad ( which at moment it's every week)

Have a great Christmas and cast your mind back to 1995 if you can. Comparatively I'm quite enjoying this crisis and am secretly looking forward to losing again at the weekend. I've missed being shit.

1995 was when I was first taken to Maine Road, so I absolutely loved it. My favourite time supporting City - it didn’t matter if we lost because there was no expectation. Players weren’t earning £300k a week and not giving a shit, they were just shit.

Anyone that says Nicky Summerbee tried his best has a faulty memory. I guess the wages point is right but they were still all earning a lot more money than the man in the street.
