Lewis looked promising last season but he’s a disaster this year. The first two goals he’s standing watching making no impact on the game at all. Gives away a free cause he can’t control a ball and we concede the 3rd.

Ederson for me has to better. First one is a half arsed fall on the ground not a dive. Second he has to get up off the ground much quicker and he catches that scuff effort. 3rd goal half arsed dive afraid he’s going to hit the post. Ortega should have been kept in for me despite maybe he should have saved the equaliser at Brentford.

Midfield has no legs. When Dias goes off we have no bollox in the side. How we’ve signed 3 players and none of them a midfielder that can run which is glaring weakness all season is shocking, was needed to be on the door 1st January been obvious for months it’s needed.

3 goal lead v feyenord. 2 goal lead tonight thrown away without the other team doing anything special. We deserve to be knocked out of this competition.

The run of Arsenal Newcastle Liverpool in league without a midfield signing is going to be some embarrassing scorelines if defending like today.

FFS just take your time and watch the replay of the second goal. it all happened too quick . get on your own arse and try and get up within a split second .

Dias is no better than any other defender we have , he has been coasting for ages. He is not a leader , not at all.

Gvardiol is a worry . He makes many mistakes. Rico, sell or stick in the reserves. He is not a defender.

I would think a top keeper should get up a lot quicker than I can so don’t see how that’s relevant. By same logic I shouldn’t criticise a professional unless I can kick the ball better than them.

Come on, it all happened too quick. People are only complaining because the miss kick , moved quite slowly and bounced in because of the spin on the ball.

Dias came off because he didn’t feel good says Pep. We missed him to be honest although he could have been sent off in the first half. Fundamentally though we couldnt keep any control of midfield after the second goal so our defence got over run. We must have someone who can play number 6 or were totally fucked. A week to have any chance of saving our season. If we beat Brugge we’re through pretty much guaranteed. I guess we will struggle to a win and then pretty well anyone will knock us out.

How do you know Pep wants him? We’re had a buy back on Luiz a couple of years ago and could have got him for about £20m. If Pep wanted him we’d have him. Clearly doesn’t rate him.

Glad someone else spotted that, I thought I was the only one. Twice Kev could have played Nunes through and chose not to. At one point Nunes was wide open right next to him on the right deep in their half and Kev looked at him and carried on running with it.

Josko being played out of position at LB. Nunes being played out of position at RB. Lewis coming on and being played out of position at LB. Kova being played out of position at DM (he’s never ever been a DM). I’d argue Foden being played out of position when on the wing. Grealish being played out of position on the wing. Bernardo being played out of position in the middle (he’s not got the legs for it). Why does Pep do this?! To prove a point? To say - look we need to buy players now!

Without Dias or Ake in our defence we fall to pieces. Ones made of glass and ones more interested in becoming a celebrity.

These players have ran through brick walls for the club, fans and for Pep in the past. None of them do now. Bernardo the worst culprit for it.

We can all see we need signings and so far we’ve signed two kids that when you total their appearances it’s less than Rico Lewis ffs!!! We need proper players in NOW!

If the club had anything about them they’d refund all those travelling fans that went last night.

Pep accepted PSG were better which was fair enough but he also kept saying that they had an extra man in midfield because of their false nine. I suppose in retrospect he should have taken off Haaland after 0-2 and matched them up in midfield. We looked outnumbered in midfield because we we were.

We had a warning last season when Rodri got a red card and we didn’t heed it in the Summer window.

No point wasting your breath. This team is done and has been since Fulham at home. Up the tempo we fall apart, it’s almost like a trip to
Anfield-Syndrome. We’ve aged, but had a hell of time. Reset, get legs and energy in and go again. It’s over until we do. I’m repeating myself, Fulham red flag day!. Spurs and the rags defeats, confirmation.

Every team we play break quick get the ball in the box and create chances. We do the opposite break quickish slow down pass, pass, pass go backwards and create nothing. We need two dedicated fullbacks and a top defensive mid to play now and next season with rodri allowing him to push forward. Or to rotate.
Until then in my humble opinion we are fucked.

don't think its lack of effort with Bernardo , just think he's a bit slower and not as agile - second to almost everything now and that was never the case. Always had strength to hold off and beat far stronger opponents - you can still see he cares - he just shouldn't be playing as much as he's had too to allow him to recover and he needs to be kept further up the pitch now away from the middle

Don't believe that is the case. Josko was a cb, he was used only as a lb here because fuck knows why. Josko and Ruben should had been our CB pair.
I think this is his mind at work, simple, it is something he wants and does. It works result wise, but "kills" player potential.

Something that worked in the league and cups, but ultimately fucked us in Europe (see the huge brainfart with Chelsea in the final when we played with no dmc and changed the tactics that lead us there).

If we beat Brugge we’ll have a second leg play off CL match mid week while Liverpool rest up before our match against them on February 23.
