same could be said of other players that we've signed

It's unlikely he's going to arrive & start kicking off immediately; Mancini wouldn't sign him if he was that bad. The big question is; is he good enough to front a top PL team this season? I wouldn't have thought he's experienced enough to be the No 1 starter, so therefore if he's playing second fiddle, will he then start kicking off?

well he has got to show he is worth a place in the team in the prem for starters, so he has got work to do. He cannot be so up his own arse that he doesn't realise that he has to learn. Also in this instance the fact that Mancini brought him through and gave him his start i think is something players always remember and hold with respect. So Bob has an advantage when he talks to him and tells him what he wants, when he tells him he will make him a better player and so to do what he is told.

Plus i dont think it is a very good attitude for fans to be just waiting for when it is going to kick off.. something not right about that.

Guti has accepted an offer from Besiktas of €2.5M pa for 2 seasons. But he aint going nowhere unless Real pay him every penny of the last year of his contract - €5M.

Choose Besiktas over Blackburn, cant think why.

Perhaps he supports Burnley? Blackburn appear to need some re-inforcements of his calibre though ie. getting beat 3-0 by Preston last night! Ooops!

I'd choose Besiktas over a lot of teams for the atmosphere in their stadium alone.

Time to move on from Balotelli if he's mucking about.

Give him until Friday, after that the deals off the table - that will make the agent and Inter jump a bit as nobody would pay more than us.

Its Italy. Its just the way they do business. There is little point in trying to keep up with who is saying what as they will contradict themselves every half hour and none of it will have any bearing on reality anyway.

My 8 year old son just told me he heard a report on BBC2 news during the Chris Evans show that Roberto Mancini was set to unveil two new signings today but he didn't catch their names. Does this qualify as being ITK?

I was listing to Chris Evans myself until about 8.15ish and all I heard on the Sports Report bit was that Mancini had confirmed his interest in Donovan and Balotelli - nowt about unveiling anybody I'm afraid.

Milner says he wants to come & Johnny O'Lumpball says he can leave at the right price apparently.

Anyone else think that Mancini hs been a bit cute here. Saying he is interested in Donovan to force Villa and Milner's hand maybe?
