Thought we were pretty impressive in the second half, once we'd dragged Spurs down to our pace ;-o

Yes, every time I see him play. Far better than RIchards and Zabaleta.

I'd have been happy with a point going into this, after that 1st half I'm ecstatic
Kompany and Hart were awesome, Silva some neat touches, Tevez busy. Other than that all have plenty of room for improvement

well a point is better then nowt, and a lot better then last season but we need to do a lot better then this. need to have two wingers on and trevez and ade/mario up front, and we need to have a few out of pen area when other team have corner/freekick

2nd half was MUCH better, we controlled the game, only when the likes of SWP and Zabba got on the ball did we lose it unecessarily. Hope he doesn't play this defensively against Liverpool, but I think it was the right set up for today - we'd take a point at WHL before kick off.

But crucially, not as good as Boetang, and I'm a huge fan of Charlie. Let's hope Jerome is fit soon

Mancini needs to change the way we line up in midfield and attack. Tevez and Adebayor both never play where they should be. Adebayor did a bit better but still why do we never have anyone in the box?

Reality check
The team has only played together for about 26 mins
We were playing a top four team
We were playing away
The average height of our front line was 2 feet 6 inches!

Very happy with the point especially after that first half. Big improvement in the 2nd. Sweep could have nicked a goal !
The away point at Spurs (something we haven't seen in a long time) made it worthwhile to wake up at 4.00 AM to watch the match.

That's already an improvement on last season - a very good point.
Credit to Spuds. Carried on from last year and we were always going to struggle with the limited preparation we've had with our best players. Bale and Esso-Ekotto(sp) were excellent and we just about managed to cope with their pace out wide.
Joe Hart MOTM with honourable mentions to Kolo, Vinnie & AJ.
Judging by this performance we're going to need to give the team a good few weeks to bed down, but the guts and resilience(sp) are already there.

Overall, I'm quite encouraged by today's performance, albeit that we were perhaps lucky, overall to bag the point.
Particularly impressive, given my expectations, was Kolo Toure's performance, and bro. Ya Ya looks as if he will settle into a very commanding midfielder for us.
Obviously, with a settled back four as Spurs have, Tevez and Silva couldn't be expected to gell, offensively, so quickly, not least because of their still having to shake off the post World Cup cobwebs.
Silva is obviously somewhat lightweight, but so far he hasn't looked as if he'll be fazed by the physical EPL defenders.
I thought Nigel De Jong was our most impressive outfield performer today: his anticipation, decision-making, and even quality of his tackling was well-nigh faultless
His partnership with Ya Ya could well develop into the Premier League's finest this season.
SWP's poor miss could affect his start prospects in the next few weeks; Johnson showed far more in the shorter time he was on the field.
Micah Richards showed good invention going forward, but he was far too often our weakest player defensively.
Hopefully Boateng will be available to start soon, as Richards could end up costing us points that could prove an insurmountable obstacle at the business end of the season.

this match last season cost a manager his job. Stark improvement.
Better second half. I was a bit suprised Sweep was taken off instead of Silva considering his preseason.
Great backs to the wall defending. Good result.
Attack the argument of the person, not the person of the argument- except Carl.
