I hated him and then I watched this! I then remembered him on Sunday with that inflatable pink ball and have just accepted that he is stupid. A bit like John coffee in the green mile only not as large, but equally stupid.

Beginning to wonder how much his goals are worth after all. And I thought he was getting better, at

He does dish out his own punishment if wronged, he felt after the worst ref in years I have seen, failed to even speak with the defender who ploughed through him. Funny that but I know what you mean. At training the other day there were 3 lads stuck up a tree wtaching and everytime Mario touched the ball they cheered/shouted in moronic fashion and no matter how much I wished it they didn't fall out.
They were 15 or 16 I would guess but sounded like 11 year old girls.I just find it so disappointing that a player like him who has done what he has ( very little) gets cult status from some more because of his outrageous attitude rather than anything else.

Seems a kid to me who is taking a long time to grow up.
I think that's partly down to the way he has been raised(a bit spoilt probably,because of his talent)in the harsh in some ways life of a footballer and in other aspects easy.
To me he goes OTT and then realises he has been an idiot but whilst he is doing his foolish acts I think he is still to young and daft to realise what he is doing.He probably see's afterwards what an idiot he has been and hopefully as Nigel has said his team mates who are older than him are going to have to teach him some harsh lessons and calm him down.

I wasn't trying to be constructive!
It's my opinion! Just like you saying, "I hope he gets better"! That's your opinion.
In my opinion he's a disruptive influence on the team becoming a cohesive unit!
Very few managers in the past have been able to handle players with similar traits and the usual upshot of it all is that the player and club part company prematurely.
He's a maverick who wants to do his own thing.
Mancini and the playing staff can persevere and try and show him the error of his ways but this petulant streak is in his make up.
If we stick with him the time will come (and I wouldn't think it'll be long) when he deciedes he wants to be elsewhere and he'll engineer himself a move away and that will be the last we see of him!
We don't need a player with this amount of baggage when we're trying to do what all sucessful clubs have done in the past which is create a TEAM with everyone pulling in the same direction.
He's not that player so the sooner he goes, or fucks right off from this club the better for all concerned!

Different mindsets as you get older. Kids cheer the tricks whereas when I'm at the game I get more of a buzz of Kompany or DeJong putting in a perfectly timed challenge. Probably wouldn't even of noticed when I was 12
