Its simple really, if you are going to replace a player then replace him with someone better at that job not someone worse.

I.e demi is worse than Lescott; Garcia is worse than my Gran.

There lies the fustration.

It's also starting to get a bit tiresome now that Pellegrini says after every away game that we've played well and we're going to keep playing in the same way.

The tactics away from home are not working. Just accept this fact and adapt the formation/line-up/tactics accordingly!

I've got tired of ironically shouting at Lescott every time he plays " don't you realise you are not capable of that" The bloke asked for a fair crack of the whip. He was outstanding v Swansea, with some excellent weighted distribution and got dropped. Its a fecking disgrace given that Demichellis gave them a nailed on chance as he does about once a gameand then gets picked to partner Vinny. The Counts prejudices v Barry, Lescott, and Milner will come back to haunt him, imo.

I'll repeat 2 points:

1) Kompany made more howlers than Demichelis at Saints
2) The game was lost by Aguero and Negredo missing chances the likes of Ian Wright, Andy Cole and probably Suarez would bury. World class strikers have to do this.

I fail to see how Lescott playing would have affected the result, accept that we would've had even less passes.

That's the very point.

If it was true that Lescott was significantly less creative on the ball than the players who have replaced him, then the various arguments would have some merit. The fact is, in his last two Premier League games, he has produced better passing than any of his competitors or indeed Kompany.

The other fact is, that people on here can watch him do it, in front of their eyes, then come straight on here & post stuff about Lescott not being good enough on the ball.

It is proof that people have it in for him & are not seeing anything he does as being good enough, no matter what.

Well they should all be able to knock one off tomorrow when he gets hung out to dry v Bayern. If ever anyone was getting the shit end of the stick, going there with no prospect of getting your place back, no matter how well you play, is the ultimate performance destroyer.

Others may have something to play for, but he knows it doesn't matter what he does, he will still get dropped for someone shit in the next game.

1. Kompany didn't fuck up more than Demichelis. Not even close.

2. Lescott wouldn't be charging halfway up the pitch leaving Kompany & others to move over & solve the huge nervous mess left behind when he misses the ball.

Kompany & Lescott were a pair. Mancini ruined it. Neither has been the same player since. Put them back together for 20 games to re learn how they used to cover for each other, then Kompany won't be fucking up, Clichy & Zabba won't be playing like they've never played before & perhaps Joe Hart may even stop dropping bollocks every week.

We will again have the best cb pairing in Europe & probably win the league.

Then find someone who is actually better than Lescott to replace him, instead of people who can't lace his boots.
