The dole office will be getting plenty of calls tomorrow as the Liverpool fans won’t be able to make it to sign on.

I said early on that I was looking forward to the game but was worried as Leeds play high intensity football. I thought a point each was fair considering we had chances but fluffed them.

Watching these 2 games today really does bring it home that we are in strange times. I get the Rags losing, they aren’t that good and have been given a huge helping hand from the referees. Coming up against a decent Spurs team and losing a player early would always deem them vulnerable, especially with that back 4.

As for Liverpool, what was their excuse today? They didn’t have 3 penalty’s given against them like we did last week, it was amazing that they didn’t get one, or a few, for them but, then again, Mane wasn’t there. And does that lead into their issue? Allison out with a strange injury where he needs an operation but will be back in the next day, Mane forced out with COVID and I’m not sure who is the first choice to partner Van Dick. So, 3 key positions where they have to turn to lesser players and they fall apart. A little like us On the injury front but when we lost a few of our players, even then I could never see us shipping that many goals without the aid of the referee.

Strange times indeed.
