The Curious Case of Raheem Sterling

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Pep at his presser, paraphrasing 'I don't talk to the player's when they don't play. Some understand, some don't. Some think they should play because of who they are. They are so wrong, so very very wrong. I don't care what they think'.

I immediately thought of Sterling.

I can’t see him meaning anyone in the current squad RE: “some think they should play..” so I’d assume he’s talking about Sterling as well.

Nobody currently playing in any of the top European leagues comes close to his stats at his age other than Messi & Ronaldo.

he's a very good player with some great attributes.

He's not the complete article. We knew that when we got him.

His weaknesses got exposed. The club were prepared to live with them, but not use him as the top dog. He knew that and left.

Good luck to him.

Gone but not forgotten and as long as I'm around he'll be defended against unfair & disrespectful comments made on here.

All that chart does is prove what we've all said about how his form has dipped the last 2 years.
Have you got a chart on how many he's scored against the dippers or rags.
