Fabrizio says Pep has approved Gundo return but decision up to Gundo who will obviously have other offers. Does he want Turkish football or the Saudi money? We should be favourites. The key is Barca letting him go on a free.

If his Mrs was arsed about Manchester being a dump then she’s not gonna go Turkey. Goats tied up to trees and kebabs for every meal. That’s Turkey, not Manchester.

Also, if he's leaving Barca due to financial issues, Turkey is hardly the place he'd want to head. Can you think of a single former PL player who's gone to Turkey and seen out their contract in full and received their wages as promised?

The other side of that is that he'd not want to fall foul of Erdogan and his policies, especially if he's not playing for Istanbul Basaksehir. Just look at the downfall of Hakan Sukur as an example of what happens if you cross his path. Even Ozil, the most outspokenly pro-Turkish member of the footballing diaspora, only lasted 8 months at Erdogan's club before suddenly 'retiring' 3 months before the end of the season.

I honestly can't imagine Gundo and his wife being able to live any kind of glitz and glam life there, or even being able to hop over to Dubai for a weekend with Salt Bae: one whiff of dissatisfaction about his paycheck being 4 months late and the media will hound him out of the country.
