Seeing him live I would sign the palace captain. Marc Guehi. Calm, great in possession. I could see Dias and him being a great pairing. English as well.

I thought he was pretty good for England tbh. And to get to play for England as a Palace player is a lot harder than, for example, a Manchester United player :D

He is going to a big club. I hope Pep sees it.

His partnership with Stones for England was one of the only bright sparks of Englands summer tournament. Although he'd probably be coming in as his replacement rather than a partner as Stones is even more unreliable then ever these days.

On the point of stones, do we know what his "injury" is?

Seems suspect to me that stones kev and grealish always have "unknown" injuries

His “feet hurt”. That’s genuinely what was said.

Here’s my theory for what it’s worth.
My feeling is that the Pep and the players know what’s coming regarding the charges and I think there will be at the very minimum a significant points deduction, enough that they cannot win the league but we will amass enough points to escape relegation. That to me explains the apathy in every single league game this season except the opener, they are clearly not arsed, when you compare our demeanour with Chelsea’s yesterday there is no comparison. I think he’s trying to get as many fit for the CL games coming up, Grealish was a very successful experiment in midfield ( his natural position by the way ) against Forest and is being saved for Wednesday against Juve in an absolutely must win game. Our only chance of getting into next year’s CL is to win it this season which is going to be a very tall order indeed, not impossible but highly unlikely. So FA cup & CL are going to be our season. If he doesn’t start Grealish on Weds, my theory is out of the water. Either way Pep needs to sort his fucking head out and stop behaving like Mourinho. The past is past, brilliant……the only thing that matters is the next game and the players need to smarten themselves up and start playing for the badge and their pride and start at least putting the effort in to justify the grotesque sums of money they are earning.

The Club has no idea what will happen re the charges. The Commission is just starting to consider them and they will take months to finalise their very lengthy findings. The Clubs lawyers may guess as to how their arguments landed and how the Premier Leagues arguments landed on the various charges but they can only guess.

Supposedly Stones has plantar fasciitis which can be quite painful. You experience soreness under the heels.

Don’t birds get sore heels after they’ve been on a night out in high heels? Bless him.
