Didn't turn up for a Blackburn trial a few weeks ago because they're shite, but is in Manchester this week with his French agent to meet City.
Lots of sources in Spain taken up by the People yesterday.

Real Socieded losing interest in bid to sign Jo
Real Socieded directors admit they are no closer to agreeing a deal for Jo and are starting to lose patience.
Discussions between the Spanish outfit and Manchester City have been ongoing for some time, but an agreement is yet to be reached.
Jo is currently surplus to requirements at Eastlands, with the Blues' squad laden with attacking talent.
They are, therefore, keen to move the Brazilian on, but will not be parting with the 23-year-old on the cheap.
City are believed to have paid out some £18million to lure Jo away from CSKA Moscow in 2008 and will be looking to make some return on that investment.
Sociedad have a tight budget to work with, though, and are in no position to table a big-money bid.
With that in mind, they are ready to drop their interest and turn their attention elsewhere.
"The subject of Jo has not been discarded but has become more complicated," said a club director.
The arrival of experienced frontman Raul Tamudo at Socieded has also made a deal for Jo less of a priority, but coach Martin Lasarte is still short on options and further firepower needs to be found if the club are to avoid a relegation battle in their first season back in the Primera Liga.

Everywhere mate, although I do think Maicon isn't interested in us yet, Jose trying to get the cheapest deal going.
