Simply not good enough and there's probably a lad or two in the year below him with better potential whose progress might be halted.
You cant keep them all. I guess we must make judgement calls on who and when to release and we will regret a few, but that's the nature of the beast

Yeah I get that, but there’s been tons that aren’t good enough but we’ve managed to get a few quid for them. Seems weird we’ve not done it with him earlier - unless we thought he was going to make it but he’s just not developed.

We will probably get a development fee for him then I guess.

One can only hope we have also received decent loan fees in the last three years and we have a hefty sell on clause because £11M as a standalone fee is very low indeed

Yeah I agree. The only crumb of excitement is that he came through the rags academy yet we’ve made money on him

That was some miss. He would fit in well here.

Under no circumstances should we sign this raggy lump.

Compare what he brought to Belgium this tournament with what Kane has brought England. And be honest.

Was going to type something similar. Lukaku is a beast always has been. Short term he would be a better option but i dont want Kane. The issue with Lukaku is he doesn't settle anywhere and is always looking for his next move

He would be bony mark 2 albeit slightly better and prob get us a few more goals due to the service he gets but ultimately when we need him he will miss just like tonight. Whats he got in his whole career? 1 league trophy. Ever done it in big games? He has three seasons at united and did very little.

I am giving kane a pass for this tournament as i have seen him week in week out do it in the prem. Worth noting england could win it with kane. Belgium have no chance now plenty of football potentially left for england.

Devils advocate but what has Kane won to date? Fuck all. We don't know whether we are in for a stop-gap striker whilst waiting for s bigger target or not. Cannot honestly say i want either Lukaku or Kane. We missed a gilden opportunity with Cavani, he would tear it up for us, good technically and great in the air. Doesn't look like there is too much available this summer but I'm loathe to give spurs any money to service their debt. If we dont get a striker, we must be in for Haaland when his contract expires? but i doubt all the Kane stories are a smokescreen and can see him coming. The media meltdown would be worth it to have little City with the England captain

He wouldn't be England captain for long if he joined City. Media knives would be seriously sharpened.

Indeed. Slab-head would be a shoe-in even if he gets convicted

Exactly this.
I don't understand the hate around him. When he was at the rags I was scared as fuck of him and how he bullies many of the defenders he plays against.

To be honest, I would take him 10 times out of 10 in front of Kane.
Proven scoring machine, injury free, connects with Kevin in a fantastic way, only issue we have to deal with the italians, but he would be cheaper.

Well, the shortlist just became shorter.
Andre Silva signed with Leipzig. Good option, imho, he isn't City material.

Fantastic way to start the week: Inter Milan have put Benjamin Mendy on their wish-list. [CorSport]

They can fuck right off if its a loan request. Saying that, would pay them to take him off the wage bill

Oh it will definitely be a loan, and we will definitely be paying his wages, and he will definitely be back after a year.

Funny, but I think this might have legs.
Inter lost Young and Kolarov. They have no backup on the left.

At this point, I would take even a dodgy Italian deal just to get rid of him.
