Nasri Deal?????? On/Off, On/Off, On/Off

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

As others have said I simply cant see Tevez going to Arsenal. They won't pay his wages, its not much closer to South America, Wenger doesnt play much 4-4-2, and we wont wanna strengthen one of our top 4 rivals..

Really hope we do get Nasri though and Arsenal dont not sell cuz of this Tevez thing.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

No chance whatsoever of Tevez going to Arsenal. It's one of the most ridiculous ideas I've ever heard.

Wenger is pretty much admitting the Nasri deal is being done with his after match comments.

Wenger saying 'I want to keep him' and 'situation not linked to Fabregas'.

Mmmmmm, read into it what you will.

Not sure pal. It was mentioned on SSN and read it on one of NewsNow links. If he's mentioned Fab then it has to be very recent.

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.

He still thinks there's a chance of him staying and probably using the Fab move as a bargaining chip.

It all come out in the wash, as they say.

Edit: There was also a quote from Wenger saying he (Wenger) was committed to the club and to the upcoming season.

From BBC about 20mins ago ...

Samir Nasri could stay at Arsenal, insists Wenger
Monday, 15 August 2011 13:17 UK
Nasri could leave for free next summer Manager Arsene Wenger believes Samir Nasri may stay at Arsenal despite expectations that the France midfielder will move to Manchester City.

Cesc Fabregas completed his switch to Barcelona on Monday, but Wenger insists Nasri, who has one year left on his contract, is far from certain to follow his former captain out of the Emirates.

"I want Samir to stay, hopefully we can sort the situation out," said Wenger.

"His situation is not linked with Cesc's departure."

he does now. i think he believe he'll be the one poo-ing on us in about 5 years time or he wouldn't be rubbing himself all over with the poo right now. Nothing else makes sense.

Unless, of course, he does just like the poo. I'm sure he loves the cock. Tiny little french penises. "Frenises" i'll call them. Sounds like a breakfast treat. Not for me, but you know, Ashton for example.

cheers

p.s. i'm legit worried that this Nasri thing won't come off so the sooner it does the better...Come on folks...sort it out.

Is this now the most long and drawn out 'transfer' we've been involved in? He seems to have been on the brink of signing for about six weeks.

Need to get it sorted one way or the other.

i think it will come down to whether we pay them how they want to be paid or we'll get fucked about for a few more weeks.

Mancini isn't helping our negotiating position by whining to the media about how he needs his team completed. He's basically telling the Arse to stand fast and make us pay on their terms because our manager is desperate.

anyone see that as well? it's pissing me off...whereas earlier in the summer i was a huge advocate of how he's handled the media...he seems to be stepping in it. I bet there have been a fair few "what the fuck has he said now?" meetings which Cookie and Marwood roll their eyes and take some deep breaths trying to gain some patience. Meanwhile those two are the ones getting the stick...

it's all conjecture on my part of course, but you get my drift.

To be fair to Mancini, he's got to cover his own arse with our owners as much as Cook and Marwood, so if he pre-empts a shit start with "well THEY didn't get the players signed in time"....

Just sayin'
