had he put in nasri and dzeko earlier we could have finished them off. Now we let them have a chance and they did. Today they, this team didnt use it, but next time, next team surely will!

This was as fortunate win as it ever gets.

Result that matters,

I presume we only played at 70% to save energy for Porto..... Although I have a feeling the B team will be out against them.

Was far from pretty but job done, that is all that had to be said. GD remains the same between us and rags, 2 pts clear again, in a sadistic way it's a bit like the old city frustrating but points are on the board, simple as.

Great team performance. Silva was awesome first half and back to his best. AJ pleyed really well away from home and Lescott actually nearly turned into a playmaker in the 2nd half and obviously match winner.

For me MOTM was Joe Hart. What a save! I think now he has the Top 3 saves of the season. Un f***ing believeable vs Bent. He must have had a micro second to see that and massive hands to save it. If that is not talked about on MOTM I will be gutted for the lad. Nearly as good as Corrigans versus Leeds FA Cup back in the 70s.

Well done the lads - we won pretty 1-0 .... 15+ attempts on goal as the away team Mancini should be pleased.
