Just back from a mare of a trip, I could barely manage a dodgy stream to watch it.
In all honesty I am currently too much concerned over what seems to be the final implosion of the Institutional Architecture of my very, very broken, poor Country, to be much underwhelmed by a season ending game with little meaning.
But, please, can someone enlighten my shaky understanding on what went through Vinnie's mind on that shocking quarter?
I mean, I love the Skipper, big time, I won't swap him with none, but what the hell happened to him? Looked like he had received a text informing that his daughter had been urgently taken to the hospital!
Obviously not a scapegoat hunting, everyone is entitled to his temporary lapse, and all that.... just shocked.
the irony is that I jumped on, when we finally, for a bloody change, managed to send home the very first chance... then we strolled on 1st gear almost thwarting a remarkable dominance on the first half and then... :-(
well, I am sure I shall have a better humour back as soon as I will manage to look at Carl's rants on this thread.
Also want to put on records that I was blatantly wrong on my ludicrous believe that Dzeko would have become the best CF of all, for us.
I was delighted when we got him and I kept my faith all along, but a striker who cannot control a first touch for a whole game is not stuff for City nowadays, no matter of form or any other crap, if a player need 4 game in a row to put the basic skills together, I mean... I was just wrong.
