No, I'm not having this crap anymore. Not you personally sheblue...

But winning breeds winning. There has been numerous doubles and a treble won in recent years.

We played the dippers who practically only got a kip on the bus to anfield... and they'd even been beaten!

It's the will to win by giving everything you have that we and other teams are missing in certain games.

Psg had it last night. Chelsea didn't and went to mourinho's plan b, which is to cheat your way. Something that our club never does, thank God.

No, chelsea took an awful pasting last night, on and off the pitch.

The eyes of the world were on them cheating and they played against a ten man team without their star player for an hour and a half.

They may well win the league, but what happened last night was perfect for us, if we are to stand any chance.

Good post. As you say, perfect for us.
Unfortunately, I think there's something amiss in the City camp, and we won't take advantage.
Hope I'm wrong.

So both clubs are basically cheats & the reason being that they can't win in Europe without cheating.

Only thing is; they do it exactly the same in the Premier League, so, as Souness says, that shit is infecting our football.

We've waited a long time for that and many will see it as refreshing but I wonder if we'll now see a 'Sumerbee' on his arse, being strictly 'Invisible'.

What did he say, Beefy?

Basically said that Chelsea were a disgrace and should not epitomise what the English game is about. Turned to Carragher and Henry and asked if they could accept this type of game; he was very forceful and go no reaction to defend what we had seen.

Very refreshing mate and even more forceful than we would have been. He was passionate.

I struggle when people criticise Souness, as I see him week in / week out here on bein sports, and he honestly calls it as it is. No fucking about, if you're a cunt, he will tell you.

I think he's the best pundit out there, says it how it is, but sometimes gets involved too much. That's what I like though, and can accept, he's a football man.

He doesn't quite fit the Sky narrative though and that's why they introduce the likes of Redknapp/Carragger et al just offset his comments. He wants more of truth, they want more of the fable. It works.

I wonder how Summerbee did, did he call it right?

Just keep him away from Scouse 1 punditry and he is fine

Thats another way of looking at it.
I just think that fatigue could well be a problem for them, the cracks are there, they might stumble on and win it, but if fatigue is indeed a factor the more games the better.

We fucked up at Anfield & v Hull. If we'd done our job there, I recon we would be winning the title.Maybe a draw & a win would have been enough.

I still don't think it's over but I don't trust our players to do what is required. I'll be delighted if we get anything at Burnley tbh, & if we do, then it may be game on once more. But I don't trust them to win there, at all.

I think Saturday night is for me as good as a game we are gonna get prior to Barca, Ride the first 20 mins and work hard, if we get rabbits in the headlights then sorry they can fuck right off. Burnley offer no surprises, Ings like Austin in form, set up like QPR, Great crowd lots of noise. Perfect for any player worth his salt, PSG and Schalke have shown what is possible, if you have clever players working like a team and no passengers.

I agree OD. I think last night could be a psychological blow, to Chelsea. Yes they don't have extra games now but I think they looked drained and it could effect them in the league. If we are in the frame of mind to capitalise is debatable though. I really wish we were in a position to apply a bit of pressure, because although Maureen played mind games last night, by acting real calm and reasonable, I think he's one or two results away from a meltdown.
Come on City let's get our own act together.

Jose will be the biggest problem for them. The pundits will cause him more stress, we have to keep the pressure up, nothing but wins starting on Sat.

It's been mentioned on here by others but Chelsea play the same small group of players in most matches and it looks like it's catching up with them. I think the title is gone simply because of us and not them. They'll drop plenty of points between now and the end of the season, unfortunately I think we will, too.

Unfortunately I think you are right, but where there's life there is hope, and we are still very much alive. We just need them to believe it.

Yep, every single chelsea player except for the keeper acting like a cunt. 8 surrounding the ref, costa screaming at Zlatan, and oscar rolling on the ground. Disgraceful, but then again what do you expect from this horrible club:

Just look at all the cunts reactions:

10 players in the frame with only one actually noticing they've got a player down. That's theatrical if ever I seen it.

it's almost as if they practice reactions like that isn't it?

A short time ago, whilst I was bored out of my head making the dinner, I happened to switch on Talksport for the first time in months.

Hawksby and Jacobs were on the air, broadcasting their programme from Cheltenham and they wheeled in John Motson who was also in attendance at the Festival. It got quite interesting as Motson actually tore quite volubly into the behaviour of the Chelsea players when Ibrahimovitch was sent off and he stated it was a definite tactic to surround and influence or bully the referee, which had obviously been worked out, in pre-determined fashion in the dressing room, rather than being a spontaneous reaction.

Andy Jacobs is a big Chelsea fan and it was rather nice listening to his squirming acceptance of what Motson was saying and that it was a disgrace to English football for players to act in such a way. At this stage, another character in their makeshift 'studio' (whose name I didn't catch) also chimed in and stated that this tactic had been a perpetual device that The Scum had used for years, to sway things their way and, at this, there was wholehearted agreement amongst the four of them.

If Motson felt so strongly about this happening and agreed that the Scum had been conducting matters in this way for years and years, why did he never say anything about it until now ??
