I think we'll be fine without him or if we don't get a replacement. From a playing point of view.

However, from a transfers point of view, should we only sign sterling and a defender after what khaldoun said, it would have to be seen as a disappointing window.

There's time left and I hope we have something big up our sleeves. Just to strike another blow and more fear into our rivals.

The way Navas is playing and with the best yet to come from Sterling, we may not need him

Some on Twitter saying he hasn't said that and actually said "I'm with Wolfsberg". I think he won't have much of a choice if we wack a huge bid in that they can't turn down.

At this point I'd honestly just tell the albino wanker to go fuck himself, arrange a friendly against them for next summer and tell baby Fern to show him how sharp his elbow is.

Joey Barton still on a free?

That's interesting as they would no doubt be matching what we would offer him yet our media are reporting anything north of £200 Grand a week, even though many are now aware we don't pay that kind of money.

Saying that, they'll do anything to discredit/bring down our club and players so no real change.

Those saying we don't need De Bruyne should think again. We aren't just bringing in players for this season, these young guys are for us going forward. Players that can take the burden and allow players like Yaya et al to get a rest, cover when injuries kick in and moreso, when players are moved on.

Also, while the likes of Real, Barca et al having constraints, we need to get in there early prior to them having their hands untied.

OD, I know that Fabian Delph has been injured and we have yet to see him play a full match for City, but let's not totally forget him, just yet! Patrick Roberts may also wind up playing some first team matches, eventually.

A player supposedly said he is staying and then leaves a week later, wouldn't that be very unusual. We haven't seen that before have we.

Volkswagen sales are stagnating. I reckon we should stick at 40 mill. They'll wobble soon.

As well as I think Navas has played the first 2 games I think he is lacking that step up to great.
De Bruyne had the potential to be superstar, something I think Navas will never be

Not too bothered always felt we were going to be paying way over the top for him.If we are willing to spend that kind of money why not go in for Isco instead.

Good shout. Let's have Isco instead! Aren't Madrid looking at Kovacic (something like that)? Maybe that opens the door to Isco.

It's all over the media that he's announced he's staying at Wolfsburg for this season at least. He supposedly announced this at a German sports award do.
His very words are reported to have been “I, Kevin de Bruyne, will definitely play this season at VfL Wolfsburg.”

Edit: Sorry people, I missed the last page, and was still on page 15.
Bloody dementia.

Apparently De Bruyne got asked the question in a language he wasn't fluent in (believed to be German)didn't understand what he was answering

@YourMCFC apparently he said after that he hadn't understood the question, a lot of confusion surrounding this. It might still be on blues.
