You will all have probably read about Mr Ian Omara who was tragically killed on Princess Parkway, along with his Jack Russell Tia on Friday afternoon, by a Coach that went through a red light, whilst he was crossing at a pedestrian crossing. Sadly Ian would have been at that game tonight. He was a dear friend of mine.I am devastated by his death. We did many City games together home and away for many years. Our lads grew up together, who are also big Blues We earned our stripes when we were really shit. He was as big a Manchester City fan as you could get, many of you will have seen him at the games a really great guy, salt of the earth, as so many City fans are. He leaves 3 grown up sons, a grand son and a lovely wife.
The Big fella will have been watching that game from above tonight. That one is dedicated to you Ian. Going to miss you so much mate, RIP.
I wasn't aware of this until now mate. What a sad story. RIP Blue.
