You said it beefy.

This is what football is all about. Amazing entertainment and a clear gulf of class between what every neutral agrees are the best two teams on the planet.

The ref was very far from a homer but then again, wtf do we expect? It's been like this for years.
That's why pep went on his rant that time "we did, with no help" etc

We play against 12 men in almost ALL of the big games, whether we're home or away.

And we have this many pots.

Truly remarkable

It's easy to go all negative, but the way I see it, they had to win and fucked up. Disappointing we didn't finish them off, we're still top and it's in our hands. We beat Madrid and we've navigated a tough month pretty well.

You'll still win the league.

I actually fancy ManUre to do something against the murdering cunts in the next PL game.

They owe them one after the 0-5.

Would you guys go full strength for the cup semi final, do you reckon? It'd be a good chance to unnerve the bastards by beating them, even if it's not in the PL.

(Today reminded me so much of the game we had against ManUre in 02/03)

After the second equaliser we were on the ropes for a bit. Ederson made a fine save. Did well to come back from that and looked the most likely to score. On to Madrid.

Deeply unhappy with Ederson. I thought he was dreadful in the first half and that disgusting effort for their first goal is unacceptable. I'll not go on about Cancelo, it's not worth it. I cannot see what anyone sees in this bloke.

Decent draw but with Aguero we'd have maybe had 4 in that first half alone. Klopp out-tacticced Pep at half-time because the onslaught in the first half was stopped and we didn't change anything. I said at half-time that we needed to concentrate like it was life or death for the first 5 minutes after the break. Cancelo then passes it with his head to Henderson and we capitulated. Really poor.

KDB was excellent. Mahrez might have won it. The ref was a disgrace.

Big chance to shut the horrible fuckers up missed. poor defending for me, should've not got in those positions in the first place, we had control of the game twice.

Anyway nothings changed, win and we win.

How?
I swear, looked at them non stop, ball on the right for Arnold who throws it behind the lines for Mane/Salad, ball on the left for Robertson who throws it behind the lines for Salad/Mane.
They played their similar primitive tactics, they just caught us sleeping when the second half started.

And their first goal came after a long play without the ball going out to check the possible penalty for us.

Klopp on the verge of tears post match - utterly destroyed - someone should look after him for the new few days until he rebuilds his fantasy world.

I cannot get my head around anyone being that fuckign happy with that scoreline ! - !Win that and we basically win the league but as usual we missed chance after chance after chance ...deja vu.
As for Sterling ?......................well.

Defending was piss poor on both their goals. Don't know what Bernardo was doing heading the ball across the box and then they were all ball watching leaving Jota unmarked. Ed did his best Bravo impression. Equally shite on the second. Laporte played Mane on and Walker switched off. We were undone by shite defending, not great forward play.

Fabinho and Thiago should both have received more than one yellow card, Thiago could have had four. No mention of the possible penalty, probably wasn't one hut not even a second look.

I’m a curious mixture of disappointment and relief. We have a couple of tricky fixtures away to West Ham and Wolves but the rest look very winnable. Hopefully the dippers will drop a point or two but we’ve just to keep winning. Possession will be the name of the game in Madrid so I guess Mahrez and Grealish will start. Walker of course will start and be very helpful to counter any quick breaks. He was very good tonight.

sorry, but when you miss 6 clear chances in the first half , don't blame the defense for an occasional lapse , greed and incompetence in front of the goal cost us the three points .Sergio would be hat trick king tonight.

Yep. Even Delap would have finished them off. A decent finisher and not what we had and we’d have been out of sight.
