A great game for those who don’t have a dog in the fight but, fuck me, we were slow until their pace wore off. The scoreline says that we deserved a draw but they could’ve been out of sight in the 1st half/early 2nd half.

Really weak at our right side defence, and Rodri didn’t look himself to cover if anybody went forward.

Great to see the fight back though, absolutely superb that we have the balls to fight until the end and get a draw from 2 goals down. Much better than wishing for a mullering of 5-1.

Quick question. Does anybody still pay for Sky Sports?

Straight into advertising the Rag v Dipper game, accompanied by one of the best Stone’s tunes. He may have been a Rag fan but Stone Roses we’re made in Manchester, not Trafford.

Very good game and it could have gone either way so can’t grumble about a draw, especially at Newcastle who have a very good home record under Howe.

Foden off the pace today and not playing in Haaland for 2-0 could have been playing on his mind.
The defence was unusually weak today and Rodri was off the pace as well which didn’t help, nor did the injury to Ake.
Stones looked very rusty and Walker had to keep coming over to help him out
Haaland was much more involved and offered a different outlook
And we showed great determination and courage to come back from 3-1 down. We finally have a core of steel about us

Foden seems to be learning from Grealish as in playing it safe - he has also been guilty of not passing and imo he needs to be dropped .

Foden is jealous that Grealish is mates with Haaland now. That’s why he won’t pass.

Disagree , this was a game for Phillips from the start . Rodri took about 60 mins to get sorted . The last period he was back to the Rodri we have seen .

I was watching on US channel, and was quite amused when the game finished they started on about the "Big Match".
There was a picture of Salah, and some bloke in a rag shirt I've never seen before in my life.

Decent summation, mate. Newcastle seem to have a great spirit and have been galvanised since the takeover and riddance of Ashley. If they continue in this vein and keep the likes of the Rags, Dippers, Spurs, Arsenal or Chelsea out of Europe, then those 2 points dropped will have been well worth paying.

The ‘Big Match’ between 15th and 19th, who could move to either 6th or 13th? I know it’s early but how much do the broadcasters have to undersell the rest of the league to keep their preferred subscribers happy?

That’s why I refuse to pay these cunts.
