Mate im always worried till we are at least 2 goals up

Usually 3 with me, then still a little on edge.

Turns out Haaland wasn’t trembling and Cucu did his hamstring!

Great to see footballers can come out as homosexual whilst they’re still playing though now

I hope he doesn't bench Lewis next game.

I'd rather we sold Walker

If he benches Lewis I’ll be pissed off. He’s never let us down and was brilliant today, as he has been all pre season

Very happy with that result, didn’t see the game, saw the match thread, some of the guys not happy with Doku, radio commentary saying he was a threat, what is the reality?

The reality is his final decision, pass or shot is awful. For someone who constantly flies passed defenders his final touch/choice is piss poor.

He started on the right and Savio on left, but after maybe 15 minutes they got swapped over and it worked better. He will be fine if played on the left, the right needs work.

Like a few he was still a bit rusty to get back to where he was last season.

Three points away at a tough ground
Clean sheet
Lewis had a very decent run out
Savinho looks very promising
Eased Foden in

That'll do nicely

Doku had a decent game, was always a good out for us and kept them pegged back. He goes on some great runs but then stumbles. He'll get better as he matures and learns to take a safer option. Thought Haaland could have helped him at times, as he tends to stay planted in the middle, I'd like to see him occassionally move to help him out sometimes. Doku better on the left than the right . Savio had a great first half i thought, impressed

Typical Doku - class beating his man but terrible end product.

If we can improve his final product and decision making we’ll have some player on our hands.

Agree with that. Especially with the options he sometimes had with runners not coming in. And Haaland doesn't seem to be as active in the box as in his first season

Good all round performance from City. No player in particular disappointed today which is always good.

Some really good performances from some players Kovacic, Silva, Lewis & Haaland to name a few.

Always good to get 3 points on the board away to Chelsea, in first game of the season, feels like we should be given a bonus point.

Don't blame Haarland. His movement was good. Doku let him down at least four times.
