Robinho is our only one I think. Aguero was still young. Tevez maybe. I can’t remember the last time I got excited about a signing.

It would seem that FFP has done its job to curtail our activity in the transfer market, we've now gone from Kane or Haaland to potentially Ings and retaining Delap from going out on loan to be standby for the first team again.

It would seem that FFP has done its job to curtail our activity in the transfer market, we've now gone from Kane or Haaland to potentially Ings and retaining Delap from going out on loan to be standby for the first team again.

To be fair to City , they allowed Baldie to spend in excess of 750 million quid on players that he wanted.........they had to rein it in sooner or later.

If they sign this 18 yr old left back Nuno Mendes from our "partner" club Sporting - maybe Bendy will be farmed out. I fully agree it is deeply depressing to still read his name on our squad list.

Thats not correct. Carson is deemed home grown so wont affect the list, either will kane or grealish if they come. We have plenty of open spots on the non home grown list.

Just to add we can have 17 in total so only need 5 homegrown(6 if we include a third choice keeper) if we want a squad with two players for every position. Foden, Walker, stones, sterling and ake cover this plus carson in goal. Thats before we sign anyone. Well sorted in this department we are.

It is correct. Carson qualilifies as association trained but only 4 such players are allowed, which we already have. Carson can only be accomodated by taking up one of the 17 free squad slots.
