really cannot understand how a self proclaimed disliker of the WC both bothers in that case to watch it and then also bothers to write on a forum complaining and whinging about it..

who knows, I might even love the competition if it wasn't for people like you.

Now put that funny hat on, go to wardrobe to pick a jersey for next game and see who you 'support' in that one.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Great win by Ghana. Serbia can bounce back. All down to the Aussies in this group and who they give a match to. They'll give someone a run for their money over the three matches. Just one tho.

cheers

Has anyone noticed a very liberal doling out of the cards so far? The ghanian striker picked one up for having it bounce off his chest and hit his upper arm, never intentional, far enough it's a handball, but never in a month of sundays was that a cardable offence.

it took me a while to even understand what the fucl happened. Silly stuff that call. You'd have thought he tried to catch it and run it in American football-style based upon the call.

Timothy Happy-Clapper (nee Kuntz) there just told me that you are not allowed to say that. Show a happy face and clap as hard as you can and you may just avoid ending up in the camp. Me? Well I've already been caught by the thought police so there's no helping me.

i liked South Korea and Greece...i thought they Koreans were strong and fun to watch and put on a good display. Same for the Argies, tho they had a poor day finishing. Ghana and Serbia was fun. England-US was a crappy match technically but was "riveting" i suppose. Uruguay was interesting to see in terms of how fuclin hard they are going to be to beat. They have some quality up front as well which could provide the secret sauce later if they pull it all together.

It's ok...settle in, it's like the first 5 minutes of the film. Plenty of myths to be made. Let's watch it together, ok?

cheers

The S.Korea game was ok. But the openers are always like this tbh no-one wants to lose and none of the players want to be seen making a mistake and that just translates to careful and ponderous play. It usually brightens up a bit in the third games when its more now or never.. but then it sinks back to cagey stuff in the knock-outs. Same old story though.. if there is an early goal the game tends to be better.
You can see NQDP's point though.. if it wasn't the WC it wouldn't be worth watching

Argentina have looked the pick of the bunch so far, not been impressed with any of the African teams though.

I was entertained by Argentina-Nigeria, other than that, a lot of dreadful stuff so far. Should open up when teams have to go for it in their 2nd matches.

Plus, we haven't even seen Spain and Brazil play yet, so that should liven things up as well.

Well done Ghana. Really enjoyable team to watch, very talented midfield (Annan & Asamoah were very impressive). Glad the Serb cunts lost, just a shame Vidic didn't break his neck. God I hate that dirty cunt.

And another thing - Antti, are you depressed? I want the original nqdp back. This might sound a bit harsh mate but just trying to be honest: you've turned into a bit of an arsehole.
