I would have loved a clean sheet but I can't have everything I suppose. What a performance. More of the same please, from everyone.

How utterly marvelous! Shame to concede that goal! Other than that, a quite immense away performance! Perfect!

Those away fans are magnificent, can always hear them over the home supporters. Still got the self deprecating humour as well which a lot of us have lost.

Nice win, was really impressed. Looks like Mancini and the players really went out with a point to prove. Just wish they would consistently play like this.

to be fair it was the gaffa making sure the captain did it if i saw it right on TV.

Saw a nice touch by Komps and De Jong to say Hello to Sparky but he didn't look too pleased with their approach. He wasn't dismissive, but...yknow...love lost and all that.

cheers

Great win today. Great display from the lads. Great finish to the weekend. 3 points only off the pace.

Zabba MOTM for me and just saw an interview with him and Barry and was really impressed with his English. Well done Zabba. Shame he will miss the Stoke match.

i've given mancini a proper slagging these last few weeks and though i still remain sceptical, todays performance was world class. good team spirit, beautiful one touch passing round the middle and goals from all over the park. well done lads, and well done roberto. stoke will be much harder to perform like that against, but i'm well impressed.

I wonder if we had a 'Love-In' instead of training this week, and that's why Dougie's been so quiet?

Let's not be too hard on Leslie, he did manage to draw the second half. If there was a draw to be found in that game, you know he'd find it.

Irrespectively of what score the game will end, was that first half attacking enough? And I particularly do mean that shown the ten minutus before and up the second goal! I know is a differnt means of attack, but it is attack nonetheless: only brings very less risk and threat to the defensive phase.
Keep the faith, Mates, and imagine the output when Mario will be in for Jo and Kolarov and Boateng/Micah will be fully set into the engine!

Didn't read the thread but to be fair to MH, the comparison is vgoid, as it is a McLaren versus a Vahuxal.

Mancio, I think today's performance is actually a confirmation of what many of us have been saying; we don't have to be over cautious & negative to pick up points. We have a squad full of players who can be sent out with accent either on getting forward or covering defensively. They can't do both things for 90 mins. We had more players going forward to get onto the ball today & try to effect the game in the last 3rd, than in the whole of the 1st half v Birmingham & the last 4 matches v Utd put together. We were also pressing the ball in their half rather than sitting back & leaving Tevez largely on his own.

Obviously many teams won't be as nice to play against v Fulham but even so, today proves what we can do even at this stage in our development, with the right attitude. Imo, the fact Mancini has now said we are chasing 1st place, is a big part of that.

We should try to win every game. If we lose one or two, so be it, other teams will drop points too. Come on City, go for the title.
