Look on the bright side, at least by not being top we have a better chance winning the league if stats are anything to go by.

Realistically though, I think we've been on the bad end of some decisions, two clear handballs in the area spring to mind.

Toure out for the next game and by the looks of it a recurrence of Balotelli's knee injury... January can't come soon enough. Another dimension needed in our attacking line up for sure, and god knows what else. Got faith we're in good hands with Mancini though.

Kolo back to last seasons level of performance. Nevermind at least it is blindingly obvious that we need a striker who actually plays in the box and doesn't drop deep for most of the match.

Lokk Gollum in for the night. On the pitch that is. Let the little soggy Tw*t have his wankfest with frozen fingers. This has become their biggest game of the season. Hope the rot with their shit stadium. Totaly dominated, 3 stone wall pens. Sloppy first 20 min caught us.

Was thinking the exact same thing, we just bottle the games when there is anything at all at stake. Really frustrating but its just where we are at, at the moment. Hoping we'll see a couple of new faces in January at least, with Bridge, RSC, Ade, and a few others making room.

Who ever took so fucking long with zabba cost us the game, as well as the ref not seeing 2 definite handballs. so the final score should of been 3-1!.

This. I cannnot believe we lost that gaem, Two blatant handballs, Balotelli hitting the post and Howard pulling off some blinders. I can't remember seeing such a one sided game before.

The ref was fucking useless, I didn' realse teh Premier League played "Any Keeper"

We closed Everton in their own penalty box for most of the game and you say this? We made mistakes at the back in the only two moves they did, and paid for it, but I think on a whole we didn't perform badly. We were a bit slow when arriving outside of their box and left them the time to regroup and close all spaces, but we deserved to win this, if only the ref didn't let them play volleyball in the box, if Balotelli's ball had gone in and not on the post, etc.

I don't know why we don't just buy Cahill to stop him scoring against us.

Im not too down after this, ive not seen city give so much after going 2-0 down for years and we totally dominated them and should of had 2 maybe three pens. But the heart and determination we showed told me we are defo going to the champs league next year and will run close for the title.

If we had a player like dzeko there tonight we would of won that with all the crosses coming in.

We gift them 2 being half asleep the first 20 then the scouse fookers rode their luck with every ex scum and City player having their one and only decent game of the season. Thanx City - I should have fuclin known. Sort it Mancini or you´ll be following Rafa or taking his place maybe?

This game (and our home form in general this season) shows only that we need to find a way to respond when other teams either physically bully our best creative players AND how to create goals when faced with teams who will keep eight or more in their own box. Everton took the two chances that came to them and simply tried to block whatever we came out with. They earned at least a point for doing so. A win is going a bit far with that performance, but it is something we need to find a way to do. Other sides are not intimidated by playing us yet and have a set game plan when they come to Manchester.
