Offside or not, we can have no excuses.

Little movement, inventiveness, pace or any idea in the final third. Not one offensive minded player that played well today. We are in deep danger of throwing this away. 3 wins from 7 is no-where near good enough.

No excuses from me. All the play and possession means fuck all if we are that profligate in front of goal. Horrible.

It will be the same game as today, Ted, except with Twat Gerrard, Suarez and about nine other far better players than Sunderland have.

Having said that, I'm REALLY happy it's in a couple of days and there's not a week or something till we play again. The less time we, and the players, have to dwell on that shite the better.

If you draw a line from the lines mans head to the Sunderland player, he would appear onsite. The Linesman is not capable of keeping up with play, therefore he is not fit to do his job and should be sacked by the FA.

Fuck it, we have got away with it thanks to Blackburn, WE HAVE TO BEAT SCOUSE though.

it pisses me off that we keep saying we have 2 games in two fucking days, well im sure but a few prem games are going to be played tommorow, which is 2 days. we should allways play our best 11 get a couple of goals up then rest players, and we SHOULD ATTACK teams with pace, not pass to ourselfs for 20 passes and still in the same area of the pitch we have to make it happen, not wait for the other team to make a mistake to let us in. FUCK FUCK FUCK

Marginal in that a linesman would need to be lined up in line with the player at the time to be sure

Dippers will be sniffing blood after that. Keep it tight and The Racist and Carroll to score. Can´t see us getting shit from the game. All that talent and we never looked like scoring in either game. Think Bob should have gone for Clichy and not Micah. We were dreadful down the right side today and got owned by a novice

We do have to beat the scouse obviously but more than that I think we need to find the form and fluency we had. We aint playing very well at the moment and in the next 6 games we have scousers 3 times + scum and Spurs. Fun times.

I don't see how Vinny & Lescott can keep playing games of this intensity & maintain 100% fitness and concentration, especially with people like Kolarov around. Both had a hell of a lot of individual challenges to win today & then have to build attacks too.

We need more cover. And we could do with DeRossi. He would put us right back on track.

Imho, we are almost in the same form (after the Chelski game) that Scum was after that 6-1, but our problem is that we can't regroup so far and win games. In the start of the season we didn't had any problems with the teams that parked their bus. We had a so and so half at Rovers, in the second we scored 4 times without any problems. Now we are starting to look again like the Clueless City.

It's our fault we didn't score but it's not our fault the lino was out of position. It's a routine, blatant, obvious offside which you would expect every lino to get right.

Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole on beating Manchester City: "They're a great side and you've got to ride your chances but I think, if you look at the best chances, they came to a red and white shirt. We've got the belief going into games that were going to win now. We needed a team of 8 or 9 out 10s to beat City and that's we had today."

What fucking game was he playing in, a last gasp offside winner fuck off.
