He got in a great position for the bicycle kick, but because his weight was on his heels, he couldn't move. This is evidenced by his backwards movement after the goal was scored.

I doubt any keeper would have made the save, but it's another example of his poor concentration.

Also spent a couple of corner kicks with concentrating on pushing Nolan instead of focusing solely on what was going on around him. What's up with this shoving? Am I missing something here or is this weird?

The second Nolan pushes back its a free kick so maybe he was trying to bait him?

OK then it perhaps makes sense (sort of) but it hasn't produced many free kicks this and last season to my recollection. Thanks for he info though.

I think Joe had a cracking game tonight - back to his shot stopping best.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

After around 6 minutes, Blackburn score. Similar situation, same keeper.

It's beyond me why the Count can find no issue with constantly fannying about with the defense pairings at cb, even Kolarov and Clichy both played at lb and Richards and Zabba both played at rb, yet Pantilimon hasn't had a sniff with Hart being a constant liability?!? Give Panti a fucking shot

Pantilimon will play Wednesday I am sure but that would have been the case whatever today's result. The call will come for the Norwich game.

I am not sure Hart will be dropped with the World Cup coming up.He should be dropped, but i am worried Pellegrini might be reluctant to do it for fear off a media backlash.Or mayne even pressure from the FA that dropping him might affect his International form. For me England comes second City comes first.

Luckily pantieson will be starting against Newcastle and we might have a chance of winning an away game.

At this rate the league cup is our only shot at a trophy this year aswell.

Don't be so negative, we are unlucky to lose the third game of four away games in a row.

Its a given Panti will start v Newcastle. Unless he has a shocker he must start on Sat v Norwich. If Joe strolls back into the side after today what message does that send out to rest of the squad and also to players we may end up wanting to sign.

He sort of saved us v Moscow but really their player just hit the ball straight at him and it hit his leg.Today sadly he messed up because he had two or 3 decisions to make and got them both on their goal. First he went racing off his line when it was pretty clear Nastasic was in perfect position to head it back to him.Just routine bit of defending from an aimless punt forward.

After setting off he should have recognised he should never have started but he didn't.Then finally when Nasti did head the ball he had that split second to handle the ball.It missed his head by a fraction so it would have been easy to just knock it with his hands but he didn't have the awareness to do that.He would have been sent off but we would have got a point that we thoroughly deserved,

Pellegrini will drop Hart, and not just to give Panti a game at Newcastle. He'll drop him for league games too. Hart will then ask for transfer in January and the ragss wil sign him when DeGea goes home to Spain.
