Pellegrini blames tired players and changes. Says Silva Nasri Sagna and Clichy should be fit for the weekend. We have to get 3 points.

Our chances of scoring left the pitch with Yaya.
We've been hoping for a miracle since then

So kdb was shit but he wasn't the one passing to Newcastle shirts!!! Yaya being taken off meant we couldn't score because he was such a massive threat for the 70 minutes

Laughable one eyed view

We didn't get hold of the ball foe a second because not one of the players on the park were capable. KdB plays direct. Fernando, club foot. Fernandinho battler, Sterling direct and scared, Bony, no confidence and Little movement and Aguero. Who we hoped for a miracle from.
Nobody to hold the ball. So we didn't. It's not difficult to see.
It must be why you play in goal!

It's all.about opinions and you have yours whilst everyone else thinks the same as me.

You clearly can't read a forum in the same way you can't read a football game.

Haha OK. Read back when you have 10.minutes and look at everyone lauding yaya. You must see dead people

Not everybody agreed with you at all.
Also I knew we wouldn't create a single thing after he went off. And we didn't. Must have been a lucky guess

I don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere but you have to question the double standards of the FA. Although we were unlikely to overhaul Leicester and Spurs it was and still is mathematically possible and yet it was alright for Kevin Friend to ref our game but not Spurs'. He had a great view of the Aguero penalty appeal too.

I can't really believe I'm saying this but Nasri has been a massive loss to us this season.

He hasn't.
Played well at Chelsea admittedly, but still a French Duke.

Good point about Friend

FFS Toure was shit tonight. He wasn't the only one. He played well at Chelsea and maybe he can't manage two games in quick succession these days. He certainly isn't a world great anymore if he ever was. He's been a very good player for us at his best but he's past his best and he probably needs to be upgraded if we can find the right player.

I'm not a huge Nasri fan but he looks after the ball, he finds space and he doesn't give it away cheaply. Add to that Silva has played most of the season with an injury and we lost KDB for a crucial part of the season too, having Nasri available would have helped us out a lot. Just my opinion mate.

Sterling coming on for Navas was a massive downgrade. Says a lot really when you consider nothing really came off for Navas tonight.
Counting the days until our fraud of a manager goes.
Don't want to write off any players yet because Pep may bring them round. Won't be too sorry if he decided to replace quite a few though.
Yaya was simply abysmal again.
Hart and Mangala (Zab & Fernando at a pinch) were the only players to come out of that with any credit.

You seriously think Fernando was ok?
He set up a great chance......, for Newcastle!
Yaya has the distinct advantage of being able to pass a football though, so maybe you have just come to expect so little, that tonight's performance from 'the Octopus, if it was a particularly shit at football octopus' seemed competent? Wowser!

Managers usual confused thinking fucked us up. Fernandinho in the form of his life so we rest him. Play Ya Ya in Fernandos position and the cunt stroll s around all night(bigger tits than Jordan) while not surprisingly Fernando is nowhere to be seen. And we ask Delph to play furthest forward, for his guile presumably. Then, when we get a bit of pace and forward running on the pitch with Fernandinho we bring on Bony to slow us down. Glad to see the back of Pellers I must say. Disgraceful treatment of Nacho. If the rags pip us using their kid it will be no more than Pellers deserves. And Sterling comes on and stands still again. Has he got a brain?

No just see it as it is mate. Yaya is supposed to be a creative mid, not a one paced donkey. Fernando is a defensive mid.
Like i said above, i think the Manager is the one at fault but these players should have a bit of self respect.

Did I say Fernando was OK?. You are clutching at straws to try your best to make a case. Your defence of yaya is Laughable.

Of course Toure can't be replaced by Fernando. We need a top class creative midfielder to do that. As ever if we can't upgrade we keep but I suspect there will be a change.

That was a horrible performance but yet again much of it was down to playing against a team that was really committed and showed good energy from the start to the finish. We rarely play well against teams who chase and tackle all game. I thought we were poor but so were Newcastle!

In the Chelsea game it was hard to find a weak player in the team but tonight there were plenty. Our passing was atrocious and that includes a player like Yaya who is usually key to the possession game we play. Delph hardly made a pass, Sterling when he came on look clueless, Bony is clueless. It was just a crap performance from a team who just wenr't up for it and maybe it was a good point with that in mind but for me it's in there with Villa away as a team effort.

Piccs I honestly think tonight is not the night to be gushing over Yaya.
To be perfectly honest, he is better than anyone else we have but really gone beyond 20-30 minutes playing time a week.
If he was willing to play a season that way we might have got a decent season out of him, but he hasn't been worth 90 minutes never mind two games a week.
Tonight he was as bad if not worse than the rest of midfield. His passing wasn't much better than Fernando's.

Maybe the recent performances against PSG and Chelsea has taken its toll but tonight, as it has been this season far too sloppy and complacent and we were very lucky to come away with a point. We don't half like to do things the hard way.
