By our own standards we weren't at our best.

But what more can we do:
- we scored a perfectly good goal after dominating the first half and the officials didn't give it
- we score the first goal in the second half to take control

Arsenal were shit but we were fucked over today. Simple as.

Well thats the season gone and on this form I'm not convinced we can qualify for the UCL.

Fucking ref could have awarded it to Arse at 90. At least we'd have been fresher for the derby.
Although knackering us for the rags was probably the second objective of the plan.

Had nothing to do with it ffs.

What about match savings, pull one out of the hat... Every good goalie does that, exept Bravo. Goals just keeps one coming in, who does not score on him??

I wouldn't say that Bravo was the issue, it turned out he didn't have something to do.

However, the main game changing point, as McCaa has just pointed out, is that we never get the decisions - never!

The officials changed the game today, nothing more, nothing less. We should've been 1-0 up and a possibility of 2-0 with the confirmation of a non-penalty.

It was blatant, they wanted the Emirates through, that's why they pay the money. Interesting though how they've mentioned how easy the Arse have had it, and how Pep will be really pissed at that..

Again, please lay of Pep and the players. It makes me angry.

Our matches are FIXED - all season long.
You cannot make judgements when the Mgmt and Players are trying to compete under those circumstances.
Imagine how Sane and Sterling felt after the good goal was disallowed? And so on....

Don't vent your anger on Pep and the players - start ringing TV outlets and radio stations and call it out.

I'm not his greatest fan, but he was faultless today.

Do you really think Hart, Caballero or Jesus fucking Christ would have saved any of Arsenal's two goals today?

I've slates him this season and didn't get the subs but today wasn't his fault.

When the script is written, you don't stand a chance.

Pep should have started Sterling and should have subbed Sane instead of Sterling later on.

But today wasn't his fault.

We dominated the first half and scored, but it was wrongly disallowed.

Then we scored early in the second half.

2-0 up against a poor Arsenal and we're cruising.

Pep wasn't to blame today. The officials were.

I was watching Spurs-Chavs yesterday and was feeling very sorry for Spurs. They were the better team, but they failed to but the game away and were punished for it. But that was down to Chelsea executing their game plan almost perfectly.

Today we got kicked out of the cup despite being the better team, but the difference being that we were fucked over by the officials.

I don't think Sterling is 100%.

Thought Sane was awful. Lazy as you like.

Shit season, could get much worse

Sterling's been our best player this season.

Probably a good idea to start your best player in the most important game of the season.

But still, we did enough to win today even if we weren't at our best.

Very disappointing. We just don't have the players available that pep needs to play his system. 2 full backs badly needed and Gundogan badly missed.

The referee was shocking. It seemed like the game was too big for him. He made poor calls for both teams and then flip flopped depending on who was giving him more grief

Cheated by the ref and his mates again. You could see the frustration on the players, otamendi and yaya looked ready to deck him.

Same story though. We're kicked off the pitch, our skillful players targeted with sly fouls all match. Yet once again somehow we end up with most yellow cards.

I'm done with this season. Sick to fucking death of being fucked over by the officials. It's hard enough beating 11 men, let alone 14.

Also, first trip to the new Wembley. Bit shit innit. Not a patch on the old place.

We lack a player of the Bellamy mould. Someone who isn't afraid to stamp his mark on the game and take it by the scruff of the neck. Fern does a good job at this but we need a midfield general!

Anyone trying to would be red carded as soon as he did.
