Savinho looks delicious. Still very soft, but has something of the algerian prince touch in him.
Very promising.

The reality is his final decision, pass or shot is awful. For someone who constantly flies passed defenders his final touch/choice is piss poor.

Doku had a decent game, was always a good out for us and kept them pegged back. He goes on some great runs but then stumbles. He'll get better as he matures and learns to take a safer option. Thought Haaland could have helped him at times, as he tends to stay planted in the middle, I'd like to see him occassionally move to help him out sometimes. Doku better on the left than the right . Savio had a great first half i thought, impressed

Don't blame Haarland. His movement was good. Doku let him down at least four times.

Five. Or six. Abysmal, IMHO.

One of those games I’m glad to be ticked off with a win. Tough game with key players not ready and some starters not fully fit.

Great to see Haaland score yet again. Sign of big things again I hope.

Rico was immense. I’m not as Walker out as many on here, but I don’t think he should be captain and start every single game. Rico deserves a run.

Kova my man of the match. First time without Rodri at a tough game I felt we should win, even through the hairy patches. Well played. Immense goal too.
Tracking back is overrated.

Lewis and Savinho in the first half really teamed up well. Lewis had a superb game for us . Not got the Walker pace but he looks better on the ball and doesn't suffer nose bleeds when he gets in the opposition box. The clip of Haaland walking past that mop headed twat as he's on his back with cramp was so funny.

Enzo Fernandes is a top twat for them, diving , grappling - an Argentinian of old school tradition

Walker's talking about scoring more goals, Rico is doing it. Put that disallowed one away very well. He makes really intelligent runs and always makes himself available. i don't get the people who think he's not ready or good enough or strong enough. Some good blocks and clearances yesterday as well.

Got launched into the post by Neto as well and just got up and cracked on. Definitely not soft.

Always cracks on, i remember in one of his 1st games a couple of years ago against Spuds he got some mega rough treatment and got up every time and came back for more.
Like you said that training at his dads place has come in handy.

Did Walker score any? I think I recall one goal for us, but that is about it. I think vs Sheffield.

Great result and probably best time to play Chelsea. Plenty of areas where we will get better and agree with all the posts re Rico, absolutely superb - great intelligence and such a strong character too.

Until the latter stages, I thought Doku was very frustrating. Savio definitely has the look of a ‘Mahrez’ and if he can further develop his first touch to the level of our former Algerian, we will have a serious talent in the team.

Two points up on the same fixture last season.
