Well apparently there is a lunchtime deadline tomorrow to have players registered for the spurs game so hopefully we will have these done and dusted by then!

this preseason is so wacky with the WC and the INTL break...it would seem like madness for any new signings today or tomorrow to have a role in Saturday's match, but i guess stranger things have happened.

i personally don't think they will have any involvement other than being on the bench for the match if they sign.

cheers

Not a bad player to have on the bench though. Late sub? Apart from being big strong & quick he's fucking deadly from free kicks, so, 88th minute, a rag style dive by somebody 25 yards out, up steps Balotelli.... y never know.

Guardian reporting that Big Phil off to West Ham on season long loan:

"The exodus of fringe players from Eastlands has continued with Felipe Caicedo, the 21-year-old Ecuadorian, heading to West Ham on a season-long loan."

Cant be arsed to translate it all, but:

..........The strategy is the following: if the amortization of Ibrahimovic, who has 4 years left on his contract, between what is left to pay Inter and his annual salary is €55M, to put a figure as an example, we are talking about City giving Robinho a transfer value which, added to the salary the Brazilian will have in the next 4 years, will mean it turning out that FC Barcelona will not make a loss on Zlatanm, in fact quite the reverse.......

Clear as mud eh? Also all depends on the attitudes of Guardiola and Ibrahimovic himself.

Ah yes the new City press officer, Stanley Unwin

Great news for Big Phil, hopefully he gets a good bit of first team action and starts to fulfill some of his potential. I could see us selling him to an Italian club for some reason, think he could be a decent player in the long run, probably never up to the standards that we need now though.

i think he can do OK at West Ham. They have that tasty winger kid i can't recall his name know, plus Scotty Parker and a little touch of creativity. Phil didnt really do horribly for us. He scored a few goals, and was starting to show something. The bus has rocketed past him now for City perhaps, but you never know. I'd love to see him banging them in for the Hammers. Good luck Phil.

another 'douchebag' posing as an 'interested observer' believed by some of the mongs to be ireland has stated that the Milner deal may not be completed in the near future due to Stevie being supposedly pushed into a corner.

we have made decisive progress. I am very confident the operation may close in the coming hours. But I do not think Mario can already play Saturday in the Premier with Tottenham. - agent.
