Fucking hell, we can't buy everyone.

It could be worse, you could be a mune and have bought nobody - seems to me they are the big losers from the changes in the current transfer window, as everyone else has strengthened

Additional reply to say....If the club expected or had a secret deal to allow Tevez to leave in the summer, I expect we would have been in the mix to sign Torres.

The fact that we haven't, would confirm to me that Tevez is genuinely staying beyond the summer

They found a white guy who scored for Chelsea.

Aye that Lampard could do with chipping in with some goals at some point.

Newcastle bid for Charles Insomnia, Wigan reject it.

Classic Newcastle idiocy, sell a 6ft odd striker, try to sign a winger!!

What Messi and Villa? Because that's the standard we will be after if and when we qualify for the CL

that's right "if" - Chelsea and Liverpool have strengthened their chances of a top 4 finish with their signings while injuries and reliance on Jo have reduced ours

Negativity flying here...we are still well ahead of both Chelsea and Liverpool (especially Liverpool, they'll be lucky to finish in the Europa League spots).

Let's not forget we signed one of the best strikers around this window too, eh.

Not the only one, but I definitely don't agree. Carroll and Luiz were good prospects at best, one has had six good months in the Prem but with no guarantee of becoming top drawer striker; would have been good for the squad depth but we can always find one of those. Luiz has never played a prem game, who knows how long will he take to adapt, and we have another very young defender who can dveelop in Boateng, who looked much better at CB yesterday.

Don't know what the rush is all about, Spurs have at least another 24 hours to complete the signing.

What a cunt......they seem to have bid for everyone in the last 72 hours. Neville and Adam???? Don't see where they would have a need for either

Chelsea are going to win the League now I reckon. I am just glad Spurs didn't sign any of their targets because then we could have really kissed top 4 good bye.
