The scum had won 19 in a row at the swamp...............................HOW
They have a scintillating front 4 with 3 "great" England players,Rooney,Young and Wellbeck plus the mercurial Nani. But somehow they virtually created NIL chances even when they had plenty of the ball.

Young was mastered by Micah,Nani was totally smothered by Clichy,Rooney was forced deep into midfield by Vinnie and Lescott and Wellbeck was...well nothing really.

City with that defensive ability also had Barry,Yaya and Milner who controlled the game and allowed Silva to weave his magic wand and create mayhem.Mario was the biggest threat today scoring the first 2 and getting an international centre back sent off.Aguero was arguably the only 1 who wasnt at his best today......he only scored one:)

OH MY GOD. Just got around to watching this match.

A truly amazing display by City. Really upset that we conceded a goal but still an amazing victory.

Those last gasp goals were sensational.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Doubt that.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Let's see them squeeze that into a 60 second highlights!

Also, good job for Slur Alex that they weren't playing one of the big teams!

Sorry I dont know if this is posted in here but 14 pages is too much for me to read,
City's rout of United is a historic win
Who saw this coming? Manchester City thrashed Manchester United 6-1, getting two goals from both Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko. It was a game filled with historic numbers, including these:

• Manchester City's 6-1 win matches its biggest wins over Manchester United, a 5-0 victory in 1955 and a 6-1 win in 1926, both at Old Trafford. That January 1926 triumph is the only other time City scored six goals there. United had not surrendered six goals in a home league match since a 7-4 loss to Newcastle in September 1930.

• Manchester United's club and Premier League-record 19-game home win streak is emphatically snapped. It ends two shy of the all-time top-division mark of 21 consecutive home wins, set by Liverpool from 1972 to 1973. United's 25-match home unbeaten streak ends as well, with the last loss to Chelsea in April 2010.

• It was a quintessential Mario Balotelli performance, as the mercurial Manchester City striker scored two goals and picked up a yellow card for his shirt-lifting celebration. In 35 career matches for Man City in all competitions, Balotelli now has an impressive 16 goals, 12 yellow cards and two reds.

• With eight wins and a draw, Manchester City is off to its best nine-game start since the same beginning to the 1897-98 Division 2 season. City proceeded to finish third in Division 2 that season, one point ahead of Manchester United.

• Manchester City set a Premier League record with 33 goals in the first nine games, breaking Arsenal's mark of 29 in both 2004-05 and 2009-10. Beware, City fans: Neither of those Arsenal squads won the league title.

I've shamelessly knobbled that but changed it to his wife saying "wake up bacon, it's seven"
Well it tickled me.

So how many minutes injury time were actually played. We all know if the game was in the balance it would have been 6 or 7 but after we scored 3 in those last few minutes shouldnt there have been one or two more added? We could have scored a couple more!

I still can't get my head around how we were able to break so completely with conventional wisdom.

de Jong was supposed to be a key man, he was an unused sub and we totally dominated the midfield. Balotelli was too volatile to be risked, he destroyed their defence and the rags go a man down.

Really smart of Mancini to make those risky calls.
