Negredo's performances since the injury have been shocking.

We did fine in the second half when we had to, but I can't remember us playing worse than before we went behind 2-0. We were awful at absolutely everything.

Gutted.

Really, really poor today. Very disappointed with that. Too many passengers and as has been discussed our forwards cant buy a goal. Wednesday could be embarrasing if that performance is repeating

Seriously ...? Did you ever play football? How is he supposed to "hold back" a 7-8 stone defender sliding in?

Yes, yes I have. It was a bad miss.

Oh give over. That was a wonderful tackle. If that was Kompany for us you wouldn't be saying the striker should have scored.

I see the Dzeko boo boysare out again. He was far from our worst striker on the pitch today. Remind me what Negredo or for a matter of fact what Sergio did today?

well what a fucking joke, players didn't give a toss in to last 25 mins, five mins to go and our players pass in our own half, needed one of them to put ball into the pen area not fuck about in our own half.

Sadly we may have needed this. We all hope so because otherwise this season will be disappointing again.

I'm not saying sack Pellers but if we've seen his whole bag of tricks and thats all hes got. I'd look at getting Uwe in next year see how he does, I'm sure he'd be down with our holistic shit.

First half was totally unacceptable but ultimately our 2 weakest links let us down again. Demichelis and Clichy can both fuck off

Thank God for that 2nd half comeback at Wembley. Season will peter out now. I cannot see why we were resting Silva, Zab, and Vinnie for the Camp Nou and a competition we are never going to win this season.

League Cup won, tools downed. Diabolical.
"Certainly our programme is a full one, but as a player and as a manager I've always felt that there is only one way to go into a season...and that's to try to win every game.... While we are in four major competitions we shall try to win four major competitions." - Joe Mercer

Stinking attitude. A couple more performances like that and the League Cup is all we'll have to show for the season. We're in danger of underachieving on the scale of Leeds in the '70s.
