Got to be happy with a point at the swamp and without playing well. I thought Pellers probably got it right too with his two decisions. First to bring the skipper back.I can't believe it's a coincidence we had all those clean shetts early doors when he played and none till today.

Second to take all defensive duties away from Yaya.,That was the area that worried me as i thought the scum might run through us but the two Ferns were excellent and it helped the whole team put in a good defensive display.

We will never know what the score would have been if we had tried much harder to win with Yaya deeper,KDB as the number 10 and Navas on from the start but on the basis the scum basically play to be defensively solid it might have made little difference to our attacking but give them to much space to attack us. Haven't they only conceded one goal at home this season so far in the prem?

Excellent result

Its been obvious for some weeks that the two Ferns can now play together and give us a strong base. Today, our game plan was fine and we were brilliant defensively which gives us a proper option in tough games as opposed to the Counts normal fingers crossed. At the moment, Bony isn't good enough and ya Ya, Srirling and de Bruyne had off days but the system worked well. I thought before the game that Pellers made a mistake dropping Mangala but Ottomendi's display was a real positive for the season. Overall, a good day.imo

I see it as a practice match for when we need to be solid at the back against genuine top quality opposition, say in Europe away from home. Useful point, clean sheet, job's a good 'un.

I bitched about dropping Mangler but I was wrong. Beardo was fantastic.

Bony is absolute dogshit. He should be looking at a spell on the bench with Nacho getting some burn. But I doubt he will be benched. It's really a shame we bought him. Hardly played last year with the ACON bollox then injuries. Injured most of preseason allegedly wtih Malaria. And playing like a fucking bow legged statue since he's come back. The player that scored at Swansea won't find that in himself here at City. I'm convinced of that. Not good enough. I hope the Count is dispassionate enough to see it the same way or else we will eventually pay for it. A serious downgrade from Jayko. Can you imagine a year ago you might be able to say that seriously?

Cheers

A few beers in and I'm actually quite positive about the result so I take back all I said and call myself a wanker. Bony can still do one though.

Really shite performance from our lads, we didnt want it.
A shame that we relay so much on merlin and kun.
Nacho can play for Bony every game for me..

And why dont we have a man on the post on corners?
We where lucky at some time.

Nothing alleged about it, he had malaria. I'd imagine Nacho will get his chance on Wednesday night but there's no real point in completely shattering Bony's confidence by starting a kid ahead of him in the league games, especially when that kid is likely not going to be around in a couple weeks time when he gets called up to represent Nigeria in the under23 ACON.

Can't defend Bony on yesterday's performance, he was OK in the first half but was woeful after the break, just as the rest of our attacking quartet were, credit has to go to them cunts too for how well they isolated our attacking players, more often than not doubling up on whoever had possession.

Whoever said "thats how you win the league", I agree. A point away and 3 points at home against your title rivals is the way to do it. Pick your battles. Yes with full strength we could have taken it to them but all things considered I'm happy.

4 points against Scum, Arse, Chelsea (well maybe not) and we'll be doing great. When those team take points off us, it makes it extremely hard to win the league.

U23 ACON what a joke of a tournament that is? That's pretty much on par with international friendlies

It's similar to League 1 downwards I'd say.
