The whole back four looks shakey when we are put under pressure and I think that's a consequence of never having to do much defending. Cancelo is not and never will be a decent defender so that leaves us with three. Walker and Stones both look like they lack match sharpness so we struggled today.

The good thing with Walker is that he rarely has two poor games in a row. Stones on the other hand I’m worried about. Hopefully Ake isn’t anything serious.

Straight into advertising the Rag v Dipper game, accompanied by one of the best Stone’s tunes. He may have been a Rag fan but Stone Roses we’re made in Manchester, not Trafford.

Never have and never will i think the only one of our matches i have missed was first round (for us) Carabao cup game.

I do because I follow Rugby League as well and my shift pattern means I can't get to many games plus I get some Aussie games too. The Premier league coverage seems to be becoming more anti City by the season though. We pretty much had a half hour build up about hw great Newcastle have been since January, (points per game only lower than City and Liverpool), only conceded 20 goals, again only us and Dippers better (we, scored 5 of them though which wasn't mentioned pre match). The biggest difference though is the level of giddiness when the teams scored. Screaming euphoric ecstasy when Trippier scored. Like being at a wake when Bernardo equalised. I thought Tyler was bad enough but Rob Hawthorn was a different level.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Agreed mate am usually at the game but no away games this side of xmas so had sly on. Jesus christ proper fit when Trippier scored and total contrast to the leveller at 3-3.Funny thing is though, as soon as the barcodes start to threaten the establishment, they will get it too

With our system, when playing the likes of Walker in the inverted role, relies on everybody to do their job. For me, where we fell today was Stones coming into the back 4. And, furthermore, Ake having to move out.

Not to have a pop at Stones. What, forever reason, Stones was brought back in and was definitely not up to speed. Manager’s choice or manager’s only option, I don’t know, but it upset our shape.

Ederson is a midfielder playing in goal who happens to be able to catch the ball and get the odd save in.
He has never been a world class shot stopper.

I've said it loads of times with Stones- he puts people in trouble so often with his passing and very rarely passes forward which is total contrast to Dias and Laporte. Ake also has got better and better for us.
Rodri has been on fire for a while but got caught so often today, I'd definitely have put Phillips on and Walker struggled big time. I don't think Ed can be blamed for any of the goals today- I was saying in the pub at lunchtime we can't give cheap free kicks outside the box with Trippier and Stones was crazy with that tackle.
For all that when we drew level we looked far more likely to win it, the Haaland shor that hit the post was really unlucky. and Pope made some great saves.
Could have been a lot worse

De Gea was once best shot stopper according to media. Last time he tried passing from the back, he ended up conceding 4. You can't hace it a. Our system wouldn't work without big Ed's skill set.

He could practice shot stopping though (and also not running out of the box)

Just like as a team we should practice corners

Stubbornness

He seems to dislike the lads he doesn't pick for the first team and doesn't want to give them a chance when we need points. Pisses us all off no end.

No excuse for not bringing alvarez on. He deserves more game time after charity shield

I would have given Alvarez andPalmer game time for art least the last 15 mins. Crazy that we had the option to use them yet we dont

BBC leading with “Almiron Revenge” Fuck me the guy scored 1 goal and got zero assists last season, what Grealish said was fact.

He scores against us by falling over and the ball hitting him and it’s made out to be Braveheart

Were you off to the Ayuntamiento if we got a draw? I remember reading the post but can't remember the exact deal! :D

Again no changes in last 20 minutes from Mr five subs, but have to be happy with a point given the circumstances

It was replying to a post saying we would win 2-4, I was never in danger and neither was the Ayuntamiento

We all know he's wank, he shouldnt have said it though, sounds like it motivated the cunt and probably the rest of his team. The irony of it all, he said it then goes missing ( yes I know he's injured) when we needed him
