That's a question for PSG, not relevant to us

Not to speak for him but I think Hazy meant if we’d have agreed a fee at some point over the last decade to buy him, the answer is a definite “no” I reckon

The release clauses the Spaniards have are mental. I've read Fati and that Pedri have the same.
Must be something related to taxes, otherwise doesn't make sense at all.

Those clauses are there to try curb State sponsored sides and Sports washing who are ruining football.
These nouveau riche clubs who have no history think nothing of chucking £500M to buy a player.
Warning: the above can be a little confusing to the uninitiated.
Real Madrid's state sponsorship purchase of Galácticos is GOOD.
Man Utd breaking transfer records (Law, Robson, Cole, Rio, Pogba, etc...) is GOOD.
Liverpool breaking transfer records (Dalglish, Torres, Carroll, Salah, VVD, Alisson) is GOOD.
Man City spending any money is VERY VERY BAD
PSG buying Galácticos is BAD
Newcastle potentially spending money is BAD
I suppose you could say it i down to one's viewpoint.

But still, 500 mil will do. Why 1 billion? If somebody will ever pay even 500 mil for a football player, we really deserve a comet heading for us.

Steve Daley £1.5M in 1979, Robinho £32M in 2008, Grealish £100M in 2021.........Neymar £185M in 2017.....

some would have you believe we are playing the long game to help them out. Absolute bullshit. We are helping them out because the Spafia want to. We could have asked for any number of their players in this deal but chose not to as that would weaken them more. Fucking baffling that the chairman has not stepped in here especially if a striker does not arrive in this window. Don't get it at all
