We got arguably the easiest tie, arguably the biggest banana skin too.

Leicester would tear our 1st half team a new arsehole. We need to pick a more balanced side to get through it.

Any competent side really up for it would have done us 1st half.

The last third of the match was a different matter, we had a real threat.

I'll probably feel a fool for asking but what's a 'pon' Blue?
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

That Bluemoon forum is bi-polar
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

This wasn't happening earlier in the season.

It has crept back in again & the Count needs to have another word.

Costel good game, gave me confidence and maybe did the same for the defenders
Micah a couple of good runs but not happy about much of his defending and decision making
Boyata ok game as he would have been under pressure.Beaten too easily in the air
Lescott showed he is a quality defender yet again but needs quality in front of him to pass short to
Kolarov ok I think.Hardly noticed him.Another who can't pass unless it a simple one.
Garcia good game I felt in a limited way.Good discipline
Milner really good in the middle but lost on the left wide role.Good assist which he is so capable of
Navas ok in workmanlike way and helps defend quite well.Just not enough real quality creating.
Dzeko good goal and assist but far too much of the time looked drugged. Maybe a few good touches here and there
Negredo has watched Edin too much as I thought he was very poor much of the game. Nice goal as the defender sat down
Jovetic shame he didn't put that effort in even if it was given offside.Gutted at injury
Rodwell isn't suited to a role where he needs to be key passer/playmaker. Breaks well into good positions but not good tonight
Zaba.Did ok as usual
Silva just stood out as real quality an started to make the others look a lot better

We all wanted a class free flowing performance but without all the passing quality missing in the middle it was never going to happen was it? Once Milner go to the middle it helped but Silva was the key. Pure class.

Very poor first half, but things picked up once Silva entered the fray.

He was a class apart from everything else. Milner improved when he was put more centrally and made a decent pass for the 2nd goal. Dzeko was anonymous for 97 mins, then made one and scored one. Quite an odd game from him as he looked like he couldnt give a toss for long periods, then woke up.

Pantilimon assured enough, but Silva motm as he changed it and proved once again hes the straw the stirs the drink.

That draw isnt too unkind. A winnable tie. Could be a last 4 of City, Chelsea, Spurs and Utd.
