wow, this is getting better by the day...

Manchester United players raise concerns over David Moyes credentials

• Fears in dressing room over Champions League qualification
• Three straight losses leave questions over manager's changes

David Moyes faces a fight to convince several senior Manchester United players of his credentials following the dismal form that has resulted in three consecutive defeats for the first time in 13 years.

The Guardian can reveal that some within the dressing room are unsure of Moyes's ability to reverse a sequence that includes a league defeat by Tottenham Hotspur, being knocked out of the FA Cup by Swansea City, and Tuesday's 2-1 loss at Sunderland in the League Cup semi-final, first leg.

This move is being privately questioned by some within the squad who were happy working with a group that had helped Ferguson oversee part of the most successful period in United's history. According to well-placed sources, there is a bemusement among a number of players, with a strong sense forming that as United won the title by 11 points last term there was little need for Moyes to undergo a complete revamp of a set-up that had a proven winning structure.

This is bad news. We need him to beat Cardiff and get a point at Chelsea before they panic and sack him.

Although some 'fan' last night said they should sack him and replace him with... Giggs. If they were going to do that, I might agree with them sacking Moyles.

That would be the ideal one, and 3 months later sac Giggs and get BFS.

. . .there's a genuine danger that our man @ Old Trafford might overdo things and blow his cover . He's got to remember his mission -
1. Drive out Shrek,Van Paymemore, Hernandez
2. Get them out of Europe.
3. Offer big fat 5 year contracts to Young, Anderson, Stupidly, Giggs, Nani, (. . .in fact the entire squad)
4. Blow remaining funds on 11 Fellainis - we need him there in the summer.
If he gets blown before he's achieved those objectives then he's failed.

We need another nice little 3-game unbeaten run , AND we want them at Wembley.

C'mon wee Davey , we know you can do it . . .

I agree with all of that except the getting them at Wembley bit ... I don't even want them to have the glory of reaching a final!

Yep. Our performances at the last hurdle have been less than convincing so far

A nervous 1-0 over Stoke

A horrific nerve shredding with a one in a million finish against QPR

A shambles against Wigan.

I do not want to fucking lose to them in a final and give the a platform to build on.

. . . then pin your courage to the sticking post , and we won't fail.

I understand that.

But as far as I am concerned I am not afraid of losing to them like poor little cringing rossie, basically because I think they are shit. I just don't want them winning games at all, let alone getting anywhere near finals. It would be far sweeter for me if we win trophies and they go out at the first hurdle regularly than if we beat them in finals. The further they are behind us, the happier I will be.

Be careful
The Mighty Gollum has been nominated for Manager of the Month

Not January obviously

but for December which is equally incredible

The best bit about that article is where it says three of our players are in contention for player of the month for December.

So he lost two out of seven, and is still nominated after dropping the equivalent of a third of the points had they all been league games?

Anyway we have three if the six player nominations.
