If we don't buy him this summer he will surely go to another club in the next window, or next summer with a price other interested clubs will be willing to pay with Arsenal or Chelsea being the most likely to get him then. That's why we feel inclined to offer an over-inflated price.

However, if he has a great season next year showing further development then the big Spanish clubs will come calling, or if he stagnates he either stays or goes to a mid-table club.

Just seemed to take a long time for news to spread that it had been turned down. I'm not sure the media have got anything solid on it.

You may be right because it's now being reported that we are offering 40m straight up, with no add-ons.

String 'em along for a couple of weeks. He's worth about 15 mill tops and that's only 'potential' we are buying.
Then as a necro might do, pull out quickly.

Cold feet ?

Whilst to some it might be dead boring, it certainly isn't racist.

I'd genuinely tell the thieving murdering pricks to go fuck themselves and say that any player we get a sniff that they're interested in we're going to keep making enquiries about them knowing full well it will push up the price for the bin dipping twats.

I don't see anything remotely wrong with that. It's not even illegal and has virtually 0 effect on his physical or mental ability. Who are the 'holier than thou' idiots who hold 20 year old footballers to be a role model?

But does it give you jazz hands when you run? I may have to research it

he does have a very...uh, "posh" style about him. He and Micah of the fantastically liberated throw ins in the same side would definitely create some interesting marketing opportunities in specific neighborhoods on a global basis.
