Why did you use the word if you don't know what it means?! Makes me think that you don't know what many of the other words you use mean. Which makes me very unlikely to take anything you write seriously. Either be able to back up your argument or don't make one at all

I thought Southampton tired in the last 20 minutes but they still had more than we did.The mistakes started before they went on the pitch and the players just kept making them.

My thoughts nearing the end turned to the Sheik. What would he be thinking after that?

Are you talking a change in manager mate ;-)

All a bit strange, but this just confirms the impression given v QPR & Liverpool; we aren't very good .

It's apt that it should be Southampton because I know I wasn't alone in being shocked at how shit we were v them at the start of the season, when they played like a pub team, then suddenly started ripping holes through us. Of course we all thought it was just rustiness, but many of our gameshave involved the sheer quality of our players bailing us out when the team shape has fallen apart.

We used to have a kind of boring solidarity on which we could fall back when things went pear shaped.

We don't seem to have that this season.

Imo, this team is now not as good as the team which won the FA Cup, never mind last season's.

I just wish we didn't have 12 more games as this could turn into absolute disaster for Bob if he's not careful. There are 6 or 7 teams playing better than us right now (& 5 or 6 of those are shit).

Perhaps the FA Cup will get us going again ? We've fucked the league but we can't give up or we will do the unthinkable.

We need a boost.

So why isn't Vinnie leading us now? Can he not lead because he is on the sidelines? If so, how do you ever expect a manager to be able to lead when they are always on the sidelines?

If you're less than 10 beers in, take the time to think through what you are writing.

You're the one attempting to mind read, why don't you tell us what Im meaning? Einstein.

Last season:

Manager - Mancini
Player leaders - Kompany & De jong

This season:

Manager - Mancini
Player Leaders - Kompany

So you think one of the following:
- Kompany cannot lead/inspire when he is not on the field
- Kompany is just not bothered this year
- De Jong was our glorious x factor who motivated us to the title

Are there any other scenarios where your argument (Mancini = 0% motivation, player leaders = 100% motivation) still works? What else is different from last season?

The top four finish must now be a concern. We simply can't afford to fuck that up. We might just limp over the line.
We probably need a kind draw in the cup to get us any further, and that is assuming we don't cock it up v Leeds.

We are not a top 4 side right now & the points gap isn't that much. We have to get back at least to where we were a few weeks ago.

A half arsed City is still better than Spurs or Chelsea but the team we've seen in the last 3 games isn't.

Yeah, and if we're not extremely 100% careful FFP will get us, force the Sheik out, cause us to sell the Etihad Stadium, move to Platt Lane, we'll get relegated, stick with Mancini, drive up our debts with shite purchases, and ultimately be forced to merge with the green/yellow mini-scum through a hostile takeover.

You are like a religious fundementalist, with out the 'funde'.

Surely you've seen this situation before with teams over the years & realise the danger for this season if we're not careful ?

Hate to say it but if Bobby could motivate a team like Fergie can we would be romping away with it.

As many have said, did Bert tell joe to drop a dolly and Gareth to place one in the bottom corner? Most of us would have started Ya Ya.For Me Ya Ya's lack of fitness or interest rubbed off on Silva and Barry.Hart was pissed off from the start and as many have said, Nasri played like the outsider he is.Obviously Milner should have played, but apart from that a reasonable selection. And the back three at the end made sense. It was the total lack of team spirit and anger that was the mystery and gets me thinking something is seriously wrong.
