If this was Yaya leaving on a free, imagine the commotion.

Of course it adds up free transfer = massive signing on bonus and possibly a pay rise

He's having talks, that's all. Are they like the Vieira talks at Newcastle?

Once he talks listens to The Footballing Genius that manages them, he'll be off back down the East Lancs Road to Manc like a shot.

Not bothered he is going TBH, just seems to be the oposite of how Player/agents work, bigger club more dough and better chance of winning things, he chooses Liverpool ! he has chosen them it appears for 12 months ago. Piss take IMHO. More games, Pellers asking him to stay. No he is Yorkshire, idiot.

We all know Bodgers likes his 3 at the back with a couple of wing backs, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jimmy at RWB for them next year!

Nor will I.

Can and Henderson in the centre with Coutinho in front and Jimmy on the wing.

I'd be very surprised if Scouse were going to pay him more than us. Their wage structure is one of the things holding them back and probably a big factor in Sterling wanting to leave

He will get a huge signing on fee though.

Milner was always fuckign off , he made his mind up last year that he was going to run his contract down, all this shite about him wanting to play more games ect was fuckign null and void as he played in far too many games as far as Im concerned and that was not a reason.

Sometimes these fuckign footballers treat us fans like idiots , Id respect him more if he had said that this will be his last season with us and he will give it his all.

Anyway , Im not bothered what happens to him..he can go sit in with bodgers at pre season camp...maybe his name will be in one of those envelopes.

Has he ever not given it his all? It kind of goes without saying with Milner.

No, but he did say he'd sign a new contract IF (fill in a lie here).

And got everything he wanted, still didn't sign.

In the last BlueMoon podcast it was pointed out that while he featured in more games, and got more starts he probably knows that if we put out our best eleven he is probably not going to make the team, despite him playing in many important matches this season. It's possible he feels Pellegrini was doing it to placate him so we would keep him around, but he really isn't considered automatic for a starting position, especially since we are looking to strengthen our starting eleven, which would mean he would be pushed farther down the team sheet.

This season he rotated quite a bit with Navas, who we are looking to replace this summer, and he may have also played a lot more due to injuries to Jovetic, Nasri, Silva, and to an extent our strikers. If he also wants to play centrally to get into England's first eleven he can forget about that with us, clearly. I think to explain all this to the media/public is a bit complex so maybe he went with the "I want to feel important" mantra which really encompasses these ideas anyway.

On Talkspite this afternoon, it was reported that a number of teams abroad had shown an interest in signing Milner, one of them being AC Milan.

However, the consensus was that he wanted to stay in this country and so it would either be Arsenil or ScouseScum who would get him.

Surprisingly, the SwampScum weren't mentioned as a possible suitor, even though they are being linked with all and sundry.

This may be the dumbest post ive read all year. If you can't see this has been a very tough choice for him then your blind. Your reaction is typical over the top fan where if he's not with us he's agasint us. James has played his ass off for us and had to make a very hard decision. Not sure if any of you listen to the blue moon podcast but I think they were spot on about Milly. He wants to become a regular on the national team. At city there too much uncertainty for him. He's a great player but could easily not see the pitch because of new signings or having to prove himself to another manager. Not saying the dippers is the right choice for him tho. If he's really gone I'll wish him best of luck.

I'll be interested to tot up how many games he has had there by the end of next season compared to how many he had here last season.

His best play has been on the right linking with Zabba, and More importantly Silva. I think the lack of a player of that class will possibly show him as fairly ordinary at Scouse, if that's where he goes.

He has been a very useful squad player indeed. However, the Club wants to play him wide right where he's much slower paced than Navas and much less good with the final ball. He has also been used wide left when we needed to shore up that side. There he was even less useful delivering quality ball on his wrong foot. I think he knows his limitations out wide but he's never going to displace Yaya assuming he stays or Fernandinho. He simply isn't good enough technically. He will also have read all the stuff about Pogba and De Bruyne etc. if you add to that a fat signing on fee I'm afraid the decision was a no brainer from his point of view. I wish him well but he's going to a lesser club and must surely know it.

If you think that Milner will be an England regular than that would make you fuckign Dumber than Dumb.
Milner never was a great player, his work rate was great and can never be challenged and his attitude on the pitch was great.... but as a player with skill ???, he had his limitations. There are so many footballers out there that are better than him, which is why he will never ever be a shoe in, from the first whistle, for a top top team.....the bindippers are not a top 4 team so he may very well start off every game and if he goes to Arsenal (I fuckign doubt it) then he will be used as an impact sub......which is what I have said he excels in.
As I said ,Milner thinks Milner should be an automatic starter for a top 4 team......hes not now and I dont think he ever was or ever will be....he led us on and only dumb cunts like you got roped in.

Carl, what gives you the impression that Milner thinks he should be a starter for a top 4 team?

I more or less agree with the rest of what you said but you're exaggerating but then again you wouldn't be Carl if you didn't exaggerate.

I've never got the impression off Milner that he has ideas above his station.
