Sorry but I think your comments are well out of order. I am absolutely gutted for the lad. He had worked really hard to get back to fitness and literally when I saw him on Monday with NMT we both thought how good and trim he was looking. The injury happened on tuesday in training and was just one of those things.
When it happened he was in agony and I am sure everyone feared the worst. It was deemed best for me not to post until more was known about the extent of the injury. It was hoped it might have been like Micah's against Chelsea but sadly its a bad one and I feel sure he won't play again this season but will just hope and pray he will be back for next season.
Agreed, it was way out of order and just more speculative rubbish. If you don't know the ins and outs don't pretend to.
Best wishes Johnno, here's hoping you can come back sooner than later.
Maybe Dickdastardly meant to say that the less you look after your body, the more likely you are to suffer injuries. I sympathise with that particular view. Especially alcohol. It will affect the softness of bones, muscles and tissues. It certainly affects the "abdomen".

he now has to be positive, he will get the best treatments available. 10/15 years ago an injury like this could definately of ended his career but there are specialists to get these things sorted out.
he could do with someone like bojinov getting in touch and telling him to stay positive and keep his chin up.
good luck to the lad, i truly hope we havent seen the last of him wearing the blue shirt.

On BMoon some bozo posted yesterday that he was in a club on Tuesday drinking the night away etc and I asked him why he lied. His response was " just messing about pal as every thread about MJ has stuff like this in it - I assumed no-one would take it seriously?"
I can only go from what I have seen and that was MJ working his backside off to get fit and also knowing that for a long time he was doing tons of extra work inside in the gym before he could start training outside.

Where is your evidence to support your accusation. If you have none, why would you want to be part of a malicious campaign against one of our bright young talents? Its less than 2 years ago that people were all over stephen Ireland, now he has proved them wrong, give johnno a break and wish him well.

It's a well known fact that he has been struggling somewhat with his alcohol usage especially in the past. Should they just try to wipe it under the carpet until it's too late? just try and cover it all up until they are in Gasgoigne state, just so that no one is bad mouthing anyone. And are you surprised? Footballers drinking heavily shocker.

Actually it's supposed to be gambling that is his problem mate, not drinking. Very little evidence to support alcohol abuse theories just gambling addiction. So no need to give any backing to dastardley who is really living up to his name today.
